“I’ve been taking medications since around 15 (for reference, I just turned 30) and over the years have dealt with my fair share of pharmacists. It is something I’m passionate about and also studying. I feel compelled to write this because I’ve had such a great experience since moving back to the valley with one of their main pharmacists named Marcy. She is incredibly kind, always quick to fill my meds and wise/knowledgeable. I find a lot of people in this field get understandably overwhelmed and “check out” after time. They can become short with patients and can be dismissive. It’s a really tough job with a retail-like aspect to it, and often they get the short end of the stick if they’re the only one working during a shift, dealing with upset patients and situations that are out of their control and/or the result of the doctors mistake. I have a lot of admiration for someone like Marcy that continues to be open minded and maintains a positive attitude despite years of dealing with these sorts of things. A huge shout-out to her and I will continue using this pharmacy as long as she’s there and I’m living in the valley!”
