Since January 2023, the ScotiaBank has become so incompetent, I cannot believe it. It seems that most of the experts retired and, in my opinion, hired the first person who was next in the line.To do a simple task as to put a POA on an account, change addresses and update accounts for the POA seems to be a daunting challenge for the very inexperienced staff, the Branch Manager included. Their hours are very inconvenient, closing at 2 for most of the week is ridiculous!There is one employee left, a teller, who is amazing and I would bet is steering the ship.So, if anyone wants their money held hostage or wants a drink of water or tea, bank there!

Absolutely worthless branch. One week after I go in person to pickup my card, my account got frozen and was told I need to go to the branch again to verify my ID. I went for a second time, and one week have passed and my account is still frozen. I call the 1800 number, they say I have to go AGAIN (3rd time) to verify me. Worthless scums.

the staff are very nice and capable but you have to do something about your phone system it is not designed to help contact people at your branch level if someone is absent why not forward the call to another representative who can help rather than have to dial 1-800 numbers?
