Pinetree Village is a strip mall with useful things like a bookstore, a bank, and a Starbucks. It offers decent food, including favorite fast food spots, a Mr. MIKES, a favorite PHO restaurant, KFC, and A&W. It is a nice place to stop, a usual stopping area for weekly chores, and the closest area from the Coquitlam SkyTrain station to stay warm and dry. It has free parking, recently remodeled walkways, and is always cleared from snow. A new large grocery chain is opening, while an Asian themed grocery likely is not. There is also a physiotherapy clinic there.
