I am really dissatisfied with this branch's staff.They don't follow through on their promises when interacting with customers; if you have an appointment, you will be kept waiting for an hour. I recently went to the branch to ask a representative named Jas a question, and she promised to check into it and call me the following business day. However, a week has passed with no response.

Not efficient, not even one time. I have to come and get a roll of coins every couple weeks, always takes over 20 mins. If you can't fully staff your business, it's time to put self-serve kiosks up front.
The employees are pleasant but they seem to need authorization for every thing they do. And the manager is always busy. So the line grows. Not the employee's fault.

Terrible customer service. I've visited this bank branch three times to update my account's residency status, bringing all the necessary documents each time. They assured me the update was successful, yet every time, I was asked to return because they had done it incorrectly.

I had to be admitted to hospital to have "open heart surgery", and called and asked to have a payment pushed over.
It's a normal procedure if you have hardship
When i was in hospital called and spoke with rep from scotia bank from another country that could hardly speak English or that just plain dont like white people and so inconsistent was horrible experience
So spoke with another same thing
And another, and so on its like they against anybody that is canadian
Why would they treat a person like that
What is wrong with SCOTIA BANK
THAT THEY ALLOW THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOUR to treat people like this
So I got my wife involved cause I was in hospital to see if it would be any different, she went to a branch to get help in person, turns out the branch person got the same dumb inconsistent treatment
Turns out she wasted her time and were both dumb founded
They have to be the dumbest inconsistent morons in the planet,
The bank policies WANT YOU TO GET ABOSOLUTELY CONFUSED not one of there employees wether it be from Canada or there dumb call centers are on the same system

Very disappointed with the service at this branch. I have had issues in the past such as using the wrong account to issue a draft and when I came back and complained about it, I was told it was my fault! This happened to have been done by one of the supervisors! When I complained to the head office and requested a call back, nothing happened.
Over the years I have moved my banking from this branch to another one that is farther away from my house and out of my way, only to avoid dealing with this branch.
Last week, I needed to withdraw USD from my account and they did not have enough available. They told me that they would give me a call next week. When I received a call from the bank that the money was ready, I went to the bank the next day. They told me it would be a while before I could receive the cash. So I told them that I had to run some other errands and I would wait for their call again when the money was ready. When I went back they told me that I still had to wait for someone to come and authorize the transactions and get the money from “the back”. The teller did not have any answers for me when I told her that it is unacceptable to have to come to the branch 4 times to receive one service. After I protested, the job was magically done rather fast.
I am not sure if costumer service or Scotia Bank’s costumer relations reviews these feedback and reviews, but if they do, they can reach out to me for direct feedback.
As a comparison, with the pressure that our healthcare system is enduring and the demand on its 24/7 services, you would be hard pressed to find a hospital with worse that 2 stars that this branch has!

This is one of the worst banks I have ever dealt with. Client service is unbelievable horrible with such high turnover rates. There’s no real relationship being built.

Came in to do an exchange rate on 147 USD to get ~199 CAD, seems easy right? Nope. The teller gave me me exchange rate on the $100 USD, only giving me ~133 CAD. Where did my other $47 USD go? I was confused, asked her about it, she waved me off. Good thing I looked at the receipt outside, or else I was basically getting scammed out of $60! Went back in and had to wait easily 10-15 minutes in line for them to fix their mistake. The manager said "I don't know why it was done this way." Horrendous. Make sure you double check your exchange rates because they clearly don't know what they're doing.

I was worried about visiting this branch because I read a lot of horrible reviews. Turns out the lady standing in front of the lobby was amazing and really helpful today.

Absolutely terrible. I was trying to send a down payment for a car to Kelowna. Initially was trying to do a wire transfer, but was advised etransfer would be better. Tried that, but as I thought the transaction limits made it impossible. The bank manager had agreed to waive the fee on a bank draft. I was still charged a $9.50 after being told it waived.
Whole thing too over an hour and I still had to go to the other bank to deposit it. Seems excessive to send a down payment for a vehicle. After waiting in line over an hour countless times, having the service charge I was told would be waived was the cherry on top.
