“Lynne Fedorick and others seem to misunderstand the point of the Costco Food Court. It isn't a Whole Foods. It's a fast food stop where you can buy a hot dog and a pop for $1.50. No disrespect, but asking for "vegan" and "healthy food" choices is like asking McDonald's to start serving duck a l'orange with a side of foie gras. There are vegan options across the street at Thrifty Foods.”

“Our pharmacy of choice, but mostly because we do most of our shopping at Costco. Wait times can be slower than other pharmacies. Typically we will drop off prescriptions and pick up the next day. Sometimes waits are more than an hour. Staff has always been friendly so no issues there.”
“Comox Costco was fantastic! The Customer Service Desk was top-notch, excellent service, and everything we needed to know was explained very well. We experienced friendly service right through to the Cashier/Packer. The warehouse was clean and well stocked with lots of great Christmas goodies. The only complaint was that we came across a very rude sample clerk. I'm not sure what the issue was? We observed this person to be cold, snappy, and very miserable with everyone who took a sample. If I were a supervisor, I'd have this person immediately taken off the floor. She didn't promote the product, wasn't pleasant ( no smile, no greeting, no eye contact and vaguely answered questions, no product knowledge). Unfortunately, we came across another sample clerk who couldn't even tell us what the product was. When asked about the item, he literally had to look at the package to be able to tell us what it was. In my opinion, a food sample clerk should be able to tell you the name of the product and details of the ingredients, as some people may have a food allergy. As well as have suggestions as to how the product is best served, and at least a smile/greeting. These two clerks didn't do anything to help promote these products, which directly affects the sales for these companies, and is a direct reflection on Costco. I sincerely hope that whomever is in charge of the Sample Clerks, implements some new training ,as it will only benefit everyone involved. ( This was the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 )”
