“Real nice wide open store. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable even with currency conversion. Selection of groceries and sundries and alcohol is very good .”
“They bring Taiwan to you! Authentic Taiwanese snacks, soft drinks, cakes, spices and many more. Pieces of Taiwan for you to take home. They warmly welcome all customers to promote Taiwanese cuisine and culture.”
“I've been coming to Tommy's since I was 11 years old (I'm in my 40s now) great quality, great selection and the BEST people you will ever meet. Thank you ?”

Marine Gateway, 458 SW Marine Dr, Vancouver“Decent place to get groceries. But, they could be on the expensive side for the non asian stuff. I really like the freshly cooked food that you can by based on weight. A good choice to get nice affordable food.”
“This is a cute little family run operation. They are super friendly and helpful. You can get snacks, drinks, flowers and plants. I usually go here for my post office needs. I have never had a problem with posting packages, registered mail, etc.”
“Lots of Philippines snacks, sauce, and ingredients. Really like their hotpot meat selection. Highly recommend you to come get your hotpot needs from here. Prices might be a little higher though.”
“Best place for an international student to shop groceries in Vancouver. I do not have to worry about my grocery bill because of this shop. Now they have cleaned the place a lot and it is in a great condition than before.”
“It's close to the community center. It's convenient for me to buy groceries after swimming and buy Chinese ingredients for cooking. The price is not too expensive.”

4551 No. 3 Rd #180, Richmond“Big place where you can score some great deals. They have the biggest selection of spicy snacks.I thought the customer service was fantastic. After paying, I was asking if I can grab a box to pick my stuff in. The cashier lady suggested I use the shopping cart to wheel it out instead. She even helped me look for a small box and helped me put the smaller items in. Then when I was wheeling the shopping cart back up the ramp, another employee who was on a smoke break offered to help me take it the rest of the way back up. They are all so helpful and nice! I was also offered a free calender. I appreciate the service so much as a first time customer. I'll definitely go back!”
“Has some of the best hot pot meat, from beef, to chicken, and pork out there, the taste is worth it. The produce there is much sweeter and higher in quality than some other places as well!”
“Great place for fruits and veggies in the hood. Prices are ok but worth it as quality is pretty good. Haven't tried the take out food yet. Not sure how it compares to Kent's but I will stick to Kent's as I know what I'm getting there.”
9:30AM - 6:30PM
8460 Granville St, Vancouver“I've been shopping here for 15 years and it's my go-to place for fresh Asian vegetables and oranges. Their produce is way cheaper than anywhere else in the neighbourhood. It's not the highest quality produce and depending on which day of the week you go shopping, you might have to do a bit of picking to get the good ones. Still, I like coming here because the staff are quite friendly and it's a nice and quick in/out shopping experience.”
“I love this small grocery store, they always have the freshest produce, they have a BBQ section where you can find freshly cooked BBQ duck and meats. They have a meat section where you can buy fresh pork etc. Because you always get good quality products, you'd always want to go back. Thank you Great Two Supermarket, I will definitely go back!”
10AM - 9PM
5511 Hollybridge Way #135, Richmond“Omg what a store. Overwhelming at first but once you adjust to the layout it’s not too bad to navigate. It’s huge like most of the T and T stores. Seafood counter meat counter. Live seafood tanks. Dim sum bar and kitchen serving hot prepared foods. Oh and the bakery with all sorts of pastries desserts and chinese delicacies. A huge vegetable and produce section abounds.Definitely worth a visit. I recommend orientating oneself before navigating the store.”
11AM - 5PM
8260 Westminster Hwy, Richmond“Stopped in here and pleasantly surprised by the products available! Bagged soy beans, super cheap corn starch, and a good range of sauces. Everything you need to cook the meat you just bought in the wet market.”
9AM - 7:30PM
6218 Kingsway, Burnaby“Very good prices on produce; is among the lowest in the area. Good selection of Asian foods, both produce and ingredients, as well as a wide selection of sauces. Nice they have a butcher on site and fresh fish, as well as ready-to-eat foods and fresh tofu from their supplier. One thing is that with their low, low prices, you'll sometimes encounter spoiled/rotten/expired produce.Keep an eye out for this and always check what you have is fresh. Otherwise you'll be in for a mouldy surprise a few days later.”
“Wow whole sale price I bought 4 large wal mart bags full of veggies and fruits and I spend 60$ cash if I went to wal mart it would have cost me more than $100 People you have to go here you get your money worth fresh farm grown fruits .”
“This superstore is so well managed. It’s always clean and organized. Staff actually know where things are. Excellent selection of products that serves the multi ethnic demographic in Vancouver. Also a decent variety of organic and healthier choices (would love to see this section grow). Parking can be a challenge at some hours and traffic in the area is atrocious but the store itself is great! We also adore the tropical plants coming in and love that they have been thriving for literally decades! We haven’t used the bathrooms here or had any interactions with customer service so perhaps this isn’t a full picture review - however, we enjoy the shopping experience here (especially compared to other big box stores such as Walmart).”
10AM - 6PM
6647 Main St, Vancouver“I was looking for the cross street of Mother India yesterday so was on Google to look it up and was very surprised they have such a low rating. Many of my friends and I are loyal customers of this place. We have been here countless times and the owner is nothing but pleasant every single time.In fact, I look forward to shopping here because he is always so genuine, helpful and nice.Everything is stacked neatly so I am shocked to read some of the reviews that it is a messy place to shop at.For many of us, this is the most comprehensive puja shop in Vancouver. Highly recommend it!”
“Expensive side, for some reason they change products or placement very frequently so it's hard to get the same thing consistently, good choice of product and mix”
9:30AM - 9PM
61 6th St, New Westminster“I prefer going here over other convenience store competitors because the business is local. I have been going here for years and the owners are very friendly. They have a wide variety of goods you need. They are even open on holidays such as Christmas.”
“I love Thrifty's because of nostalgia growing up on the island and eating their food. But I do wish they had more vegan options in their kitchen and in their baking.”
