“Our photographer, Stasia Garraway, has photographed several weddings at the Galiano Oceanfront Inn & Spa, and each experience has been exceptional. The property offers some of the most beautiful natural light on the Gulf Islands, with ocean views, gardens, and serene spaces that make every moment feel meaningful. The staff have always been welcoming and supportive, creating an easy, calm environment for couples and vendors alike. Stasia speaks so highly of this venue and loves returning every time, it’s a place where love stories unfold with a natural sense of beauty and ease.”

“Edit: The general manager called me personally to apologize for service that didn't meet their standards. He offered multiple ways to make up for the shortcomings and said he would ensure that our feedback leads to addressing training gaps and improved service in the future. I greatly appreciate a general manager willing to personally addresses concerns and look forward to returning one day.

The setting is gorgeous but our stay was so
disappointing. At nearly $500 CAD per night, we expected great service and it was terrible. Several weeks before they asked when we were arriving so they could send the shuttle and despite confirming the night before, when we arrived, it wasn't there. Our room was spacious but quite dated and our windows needed cleaning. After our first night, housekeeping walked into our room at 9, we were still in bed. Breakfast was the best part of our amenities and service was friendly but overall, not worth what we paid. On our last night, we asked about our return shuttle and they said they'd call us to confirm the driver or help us arrange a taxi. Neither happened and when we called, no one answered. At 6:30 am in the dark, we walked with our luggage 20 minutes to the float plane terminal. This property is charming and picturesque but should be priced at half of what we paid. It's essentially like a 3-star hotel with 5-star pricing.

Rooms: Dated. Old furniture and no upgrades like USB outlets, smart TVs, etc. An old hair dryer was all they supplied in the bathroom.

Nearby activities: Moby's pub is adjacent to the property and a fun stop for us. The Adventure Co is also adjacent so you could easily get to whale watching or kayaking tours

Walkability: About 20 minutes from town

Food and drinks: We only ate breakfast at the restaurant. It was good. We were there for a wedding and the dinner was okay.”

“Found this accommodation via the BC Ferries Vacation Package. Amazing staff. Came here for our 1st year wedding anniversary and they were able to pull off the request to have something romantic to greet us when we check in. Hats off to housekeeping for creating this wonderful double swan heart-looking thing with our towels. Very lovely and they had mini chocolates which also formed a heart.

Front desk staff were friendly, cookies and various types of water in the lobby while waiting for the check in process. They also had complimentary souvenirs for us which represents the Salt Spring Island local businesses which I really loved. Always support local.❤️ They also have this informative pamphlet to help you explore around the island. Also bonus, the hotel is only 5-10mins walk to the Ganges Downtown. No need to drive into downtown, just enjoy walking around.

We had the Deluxe King Room. Clean and neat. We loved the matress too. My husband and I actually slept wonderfully as we did not have any shoulder aches and back aches lol.
I was just weirded out by the half glass cover in the shower but i guess that’s the theme of the island? We went to another activity during our stay and that facility also had a half glass cover for their tub shower.

Otherwise, everything was splendid. Lots of outlets to plug in electronics. The blackout shades -amazing. Their AC is good as well.

They only have nespresso machine and mini fridge in the room. There is a microwave in their lobby if you need to heat up your food.

Overall, a wonderful stay. Will definitely recommend to friends and come back here again.

Thank you HHH team! Keep up the wonderful work.

Rooms: Clean rooms ?

Walkability: 5-10mins walk away from the downtown area.

Food and drinks: Their in house restaurant Woodley’s is just ok. Loved our waitsaff Moh, he made our dinner memorable. Fun to be with. The food that we only liked was the crab dip. My husband’s fish and chips literally did not taste like the usual fish and chips, and he got the beer battered option. The fries were the only good part. Coleslaw was also meh. I got the fettuccine. It was bland. The mushrooms were not mixed in properly with the pasta so their flavour did not coat well with the sauce.
Service here is amazing tho ?”
