“For a town of 5000, the Gibsons public art gallery is simply excellent. They have a well-stocked gift and souvenir section at the entrance to the gallery, as well as a large exhibition space further in. The artists showcased are often local, eclectic and extremely talented. Be sure to check the hours before going, as the gallery can be closed to facilitate new installations.”

“The kube is a well-curated gallery that also serves as a communal space for artists. The storefront has many gift items, including artisanal chocolate, soaps, glass art and more. The space in the rear is divided into individual studios for the artists in residence there (and their art is sometimes on sale as well). This stop is definitely worth a visit if you find yourself on the sunshine coast.”
