About Gibsons Public Art Gallery
Gibsons Public Art Gallery is a volunteer-run non-profit space that has been serving the lower Sunshine Coast since 2003. It provides a welcoming and friendly environment for art and cultural events, with a focus on local artists and community involvement. The gallery features a variety of exhibitions in all mediums, including modern indigenous artworks, and hosts community performances, classes, and cultural events throughout the year. Visitors often appreciate the spacious, inviting atmosphere and the opportunity to learn about art and history from artists. Supported by dedicated volunteers and staff, the gallery is recognized as one of the top cultural destinations in the region and has established a twenty-year archive of successful art installations.
