Disappointing hotel. For the amount of money for one night the rooms it charges, this was not worth it. Rooms were so old. Beds were not comfortable and not to mention their heaters makes so much noise. I won't be returning.

Literally the grossest hotel I've ever stayed in. Aside from the fact my partner who is disabled fell in their front walk from poor lighting and access marking, the place is filthy. The pools are not cleaned at night, which considering the high volume of users they should have a cleaning team every single night working to sanitize pools and decks. Carpeting looks like it also has not been cleaned at all since installation. Now to the $45.00 a head buffet, for that price I would at least expect a baron of beef or something equivalent with the chef present to over see service. The abandoned food line was dried out and of the lowest quality they could get away with. One of the staff admitted to me they are paid minimum wage, for a so called "world class resort" this is unacceptable. CLEAN UP YOUR ACT! 400 BUCKS A NIGHT FOR ABSOLUTE GARBAGE FOOD, DIRTY FACILITIES UNDER PAID AND UNINSPIRED STAFF. YOUR RUNNING YOUR HOTEL INTO THE GROUND. YOU WILL REAP YOUR REWARDS...AN ABSOLUTE FAIL!

I think because it’s the only hotel with big hot tubs in Harrison Hot Springs is very high in demand and management won’t care or considerate the bad reviews/opinions of their customers.First of all the service from the front desk should really be better coming from a hotel that receives many clients from different parts of the world. The person who attended us seemed like she didn’t care and didn’t explain the amenities of the hotel. I also felt like she was a bit racist. Just because someone has an accent doesn’t mean we can’t speak the language, duh.We already paid for our hotel room (more than $260 for a single night) and they wanted to charge us more ($129) and what’s the reason? because we didnt book the hotel through their official website. This has never happened to me in any hotel i’ve been around the world.Second, the hotel room. For $260 + $129 per night the room should be at least a bit renovated?Beds were really comfortable but seriously I can hear what the rooms above and next to us are doing. Walls are made of paper or something. Someone had their alarm beeping for 2 hours at 5AM and I could hear it clearly. Carpets from the hallway are really gross and it also smells like weed or some kind of old blood. What I noticed is that you guys give really good maintenance to the hot tubs. Now hot tubs are really nice and I think they’re the highlights from the hotel. But oh my god, I think parents should control and educate their kids. Literally the tub says “no diving” but there were insane amount of kids diving, swimming, making a huge mess the entire place; it felt more like a water park with insane amount of noisy kids than a relaxing environment. If there was another hotel with hot tub in the area I’d definitely go there instead of this one because it feels kinda a scam.

We've been coming to this resort for years. It is starting to show its age, and the owner's lack of interest in maintaining a standard of any sort. It took us over an hour just to check in, which is ridiculous. Then, although we had reserved rooms with queen and king sized beds, they tried to stick us into rooms with a double bed per couple. The room we ended up in was one of the oldest in the hotel. The mattress was broken and my wife and I ended up rolling into the centre of the bed all night, which was seriously uncomfortable. For this we received a generous 10% discount. The food option at this resort are far from great quality. We're probably not returning until some things are changed.Rooms: Where we stayed was dark, noisy, cold and no views. On the plus side, it was close to the pools.

Older resort with a great mix of history and updates. The staff were very friendly. The first visit was much nicer but this last one was less than stellar. At $450/night the room was incredibly overpriced and lacking. Moldy bathroom, old carpet, missing sink drain, almost unusable shower, viciously loud toilet and other issues show it's age and lack of maintenance. The pool area is quite nice but overfilled. They could easily fill another pool. The Lakeside restaurant buffet was excessively priced for what it was. We did enjoy ourselves but it is hard not to feel gouged.Walkability: We were able to walk to get great meals and treats.

The pools and grounds are well maintained at Harrison Resort. Several different choices for indoor, outdoor, and different temperatures of pools to steep in. Lovely, relaxing. My only complaint is noise at night from a ventilation system or some kind of fan that ran all night. I slept fitfully, even with ear plugs. The staff are all kind and helpful. In retrospect, we should have asked for a different room. I thought the fan would eventually go off but it didn't. We've stayed numerous times and this is the first time for this problem.Walkability: Harrison is a small town, so the resort is close to everything and easy walking.

⭐⭐⭐Check-in date: 25-02-2024The Harrison Hot Spring Resort offers a serene escape with its pristine hot spring pools and indoor facilities. However, our experience was marred by the lack of preparedness upon check-in. Despite arriving before 4 PM, we faced a long line of check in, and our rooms were not ready, resulting in a frustrating hour-long wait. The reception's suggestion to use the pools while waiting ( possibly we should change our clothes in the lobby ????) but felt like a band-aid solution to a larger issue of understaffing and understanding. While the hot spring pools were indeed enjoyable and well-maintained, the lack of adequate room service staff led to delays in room readiness for incoming guests, impacting their overall experience. Furthermore, the lack of competition in the area seemed to contribute to a sense of complacency, evident in the disorganized check-in process and insufficient guidance provided to guests navigating the premises. Despite these challenges, the resort's amenities, including the clean hot spring pools and indoor options, remain a highlight. With improvements in customer service and staffing, the Harrison Hot Spring Resort has the potential to provide a truly exceptional experience for its guests.

A visit to the Harrison Hot Springs with my fiancé for 1 night at almost $540, turns out to be a not so great of a getaway. The hotel held back $105 due to a so called specialty clean that was performed in the room 4407 we stayed in, due to smoking on the patio and 3 packs of smokes found on the room floor Feb 18, 2024.The funny thing is, my fiancé or I, do not smoke. Matter-of-fact, We don’t smoke anything. We seldom even drink alcohol.I had connected with the hotel and voiced numerous times to Alisha Sodhi,The Front Office & Reservations Manager. But she follows up by saying the housekeeping manager took pictures so you’re not getting your money back. I told her to send them to me pictures, just so I had them to show them to a lawyer or the Harrison RCMP.I wanna give the benefit of the doubt to the housekeeping manager, that she had honestly made a mistake. But then there’s another side of me, that thinks that there is something going on at this hotel, the house keeper and some management are scamming people:It may seem extreme, but what else can I think? God knows that my fiancé and I don’t smoke. We don’t deserve this. Those that commit the offense, do.I do hope they eventually do the right thing and refund me or I will be contacting Anne Drewa at the global news.

Below my expectations for the rate chargedTo begin our stay at the Harrison Hot springs resort we had to wait more than 40 minutes in the check-in line as there were only 2 employees working on the Friday night before a holiday. Harrison Hot spring is under my expectations as a resort as it offers no options other than swimming pools as an activity. There is no games room or even a playground for children. The television in the room is old and doesn't have many channel options, in addition to not having internet access to watch videos or any other subscription channel option on TV. The town is small and all restaurants close at 9pm, including at the resort. During winter there is nothing to do in the town. The service provided by the staff was another negative point, I had to ask for towels for the pool and robes for my teenage children as they were not available in the room, the attendant was not helpful and I had to insist on having robes for my children. The room was clean, but I was cold both nights. The heating system did not appear to work and only one blanket was available in the room. The ventilation system is obsolete and left the air extremely dry. The bed was clean but not comfortable. The service at Lakeside Cafe left something to be desired in addition to only serving until 11am. The Coper Room restaurant was the best experience we had, spectacular service, delicious food and a band of good and very friendly musicians.
