Very poor security with in the online banking system. Money was withdrawn without authorization in a dual signature account. Their excuse was their online system is not capable of dual transaction online codes. If you are a business owner with more than one person with online access to your account this may not be the financial institution for you. I have been banking at the institution or one of the institutions they have acquired for over 50 years.

Charla made my one star review to almost 5 stars, thanks to her sincere efforts to rectify the errors caused by their back-end/I.T. team. It was a pleasure dealing with her and I appreciated the priority assistance that I received from her. Still missing the one star as their online department has a lot of room for improvement. But that is made up for by their great customer service! Will update to 5-Stars once their online experience improves further.

Customer service is great, I met with Kris Chastko (Financial Advisor), when I first tried to transfer my banking account with them, and he was very helpful, welcoming, and attentive to details in order to help me out to the best of his abilities and he actually did. First impression was definitely awesome and positive. Keep it up

Always have problems logging into their online app, and website. Any other website works fine, and talked with another person i know who uses valley first, and they say the same thing about having problems getting in their bank online

I had accounts with Valley First for 3+ decades and enjoyed great service. When moving to new location was advised to invest in mutual funds rather than savings while shopping for new home. Lost $30 000+ within 6 months. Would give -10 stars if I could.

Took 3 weeks to get an answer on the mortgage. Unless you like that sort of thing I would go somewhere else.

Mobile app is often having issues. Now we the camera orientation for mobile check deposits don’t work and was told it would be a month before the new app will be ready. Makes doing day to day business very difficult. Tellers are very friendly but the tech side of things with this credit union is the pits. Pretty sure I’m going to take my business elsewhere. Just super frustrating.

Great customer service and have never had more than a 5 minute wait. Wish they hadn't closed their location in Brocklehurst. Parking downtown is a definite deterrence.

I wish there was handicap ♿parking available, but the lot is small and a lot of other people use it for parking that are not doing banking

I phoned for info. about opening an account and was told they would call back later. Before the called I got a call from a third party research firm (1 900 number that said Valley 1st on call display) If they will pass on my info. before I become a member what will they sell after. They don't deserve the one star I have to givre them.

I'm a business Owner for over 30 years and I heard that i could do my banking with no more fees, unfortunately the business manager has no clue or just lazy on opening up my account so after a month I gave up and shut down my personal account.

I’d give Zero stars for Valley First if I could. They have temporarily “lost” where some of my funds are, not applied for an RESP grant, booked me an appointment when the branch was closed, the list of my complaints could go on forever. I’d have done better sticking the money under my mattress.

I've been a big fan of these guys since switching over to them from a charter bank a few years back.The biggest reason for moving was their Simply Free account - was not keen on paying a monthly fee to my previous bank when the majority of my transactions were online bill payments.There are a few disadvantages of dealing with a smaller credit union, but I have been happy enough with the services they offer through there website and mobile app, with the benefit of a physical branch when I need one.
