“Very diverse mall, with almost anything you can think of, electronics, books, electronic repairs, vinyl records, shoes, clothing, food and more. All the stores usually have a large collections of items for sale, some stuff is a bit overpriced, but it is mainly well priced.”

“Rutland area residents love to shop here because of all the big tenants like IGA, McDonald's, Shoppers Drug Mart, Dollar Store and as well as the many smaller stores and restraunts.”

“This is a shopping mall in Kelowna. There are two parts to it. However, the two parts of the mall is not connected. I have been here a couple of times to head to CIBC. You will find here Bestbuy, London Drugs, Hudson Bay, Shoppers and etc. The mall is quite big and let's just say they have a good selection of stores here. It is an indoor mall with plenty of free parking. They also have a pretty big food court.”

“If there was a centre to this city it would be The District. The shopping facility houses some posh boutique style shops and parking is great. The real beauty is when you get out of The District and get brave enough to walk the back alleys in the vicinity. Whether you need your laundry done, are shopping for antiques or need some spice in your life, check out House of the Caribbean and Lion & Reine Antiques while you are there. Tommy Gunns has a barber shop and it's a great time to grab a cigar from the tobacconist while in The District mall. The heart of Kelowna is where you are at. ?”

“It's the friendly service of good ol fashion white folk trying to make a living. The food costs more because of distribution. They're understaffed because they're passing the savings on to customers?. Besides, would you rather deal with 2 pleasant, knowledgable, and so respectful no matter your appearance or handicap. Or 4 idiots, 2 stoned and a manager hiding in the back watching cameras. This store is unique right down to the way they place the produce. You can tell they love having provided for the neighbourhood for so many decades and survived. Always choose quality over quantity if you intend on enjoying the better things in life. Needless to say about the rougher crowds of people that still remain (hang/around addicts). Begging for change, Far less dangerous than you'd think. Hopefully they can continue refraining on the theft and understand how damaging it can be for the rest of us struggling to survive… John S peace.”
