“This is one place where the overall rating truly reflects the service and professionalism of the shop. My wife’s car died on the Malahat and I desperately searched for a shop within towing distance. I came upon this place via google search and called right away. Rob (owner) answered and I explained the dilemma. We had the car towed there and she got a ride back to Nanaimo. Within an hour we had a detailed update with more info in the following morning. Spared us all the unnecessary fixes and price bloated add-ons you would usually find at a shop or worse a dealership. They called around, found the best prices, questioned dealership recommendations and got all the answers we needed. Once the go ahead was given the car was ready after a day and extensive service. I know this is wordy, but I really can’t recommend this shop enough. We live in Nanaimo and will make the journey to mill bay for any future fixes.”

“I called dickson and fraser because they have been in the valley since I was a kid. Everyone talks so highly of them so I figured I would bring my work truck in for service. They managed to get me in within the week and were very communicative throughout the process. I felt like the price was fair for what they did. I will definitely be returning for future services.”

“What amazing service! Gary was fabulous! He managed to fit us in for a vehicle inspection with little notice. The vehicle inspection results were emailed to us so that we now have an electronic record for our files. The inspection report was extremely thorough. Ten out of ten guys! On one final note, the other guy in the office also told us that we should do an online search to see if there are any liens, accidents, etc. reported on the car. Of course, we folled his advice, but how decent of him.”

“Took my ‘88 Chevy Getaway van in for it stalling while going downhill and slow speeds. Did a full tune up and tried a few of the cheaper fix options first. I had to take it in a few times to recreate the issue and test out the more minor fixes to see if they did the trick. They were great to work with and explained the different options to trial and error. They worked at it and finally got the issue fixed much to my relief. Would highly recommend for the great communication and service provided.”
