“Had great service from Debra on my last visit. Very friendly and helpful, also this station has the cleanest windshield washing stations I’ve seen at a gas station. Will definitely stop on my next time through Mill Bay”

“This is just another gas station in Mill Bay. It is interesting how there is the Co-op gas station diagonally across the street and the price difference sometimes can be 20 cents diff. But usually this Shell is slightly more expensive than Co-op. It is attached to a convenient store. The convenient store does have some groceries items such as milk and cheese. There is also an ATM machine inside if you need some cash. It is also beside a few fast food restaurants such as McDonald or A&W.”

“We are so lucky to have this local garage and gas bar. The service is always beyond my expectations and I trust them completely working on my cars. The folks at the gas bar are always very friendly and professional. Very thankful for this local gem.”

“Exceptional gas station with a very friendly gas station attendant! He gave us an excellent tip: the DAO on the top of a nearby mountain with beautiful views, shady places to linger under ancient trees and an observatory that is well worth seeing. Thank you very much for that!”

“Jao and team are great. It's nice to see renovations taking place on the site. Have to mention as well that this is the CHEAPEST GAS on the lower island (usually 7-9 cents cheaper than Victoria). Glad to have this gas station on my commuting route; always stop when I need fuel.”

“Five stars, because I have nothing bad to say. The inside store is very organized, and the pumps outside are quick, clean and ready to go. The location is fantastic, it is so easy to access this gas station.”

“This is what all neighborhood stations should be. I needed a big socket at work, my guy didn't show up, so I borrowed it from the service station! No problem, found the socket and rachet and let me borrow it. Didn't even ask when I'd bring it back. That's trust In your fellow man woman in my case, I did leave a deposit but it never would have replaced the tools. So niebourhood stations are there for you the shell and esso stations won't even let you borrow a gas can.”

“I often stop here when I am heading to the ferry as its easy to get into when heading towards Nanaimo. Its always been clean when I have run in to pay cash and the staff has been pleasant. The pump area has also always been clean and the window wash stations have always had water/cleaning products in them (always nice).”

“The slurpees here taste like rum and coke like startlingly so. That being said my wife noted it probably due to cleanliness and the slurpee machines fermenting or something. I've been here countless times and this is the flavour I get every time. I got so concerned the one time I even checked myself on a breathalyzer. I mix them 50 50 with coke and Pepsi and that's the result.Aside from that this is the better 711 in town hands down. They're cleaner by a long shot and the amenities are nicer and you still get served your own hotdogs unlike the other one in town. For the most part my interactions with the staff there have been excellent for a long track record. I would say if you want a drink go here cause the other 711 slurpees are never ready.I literally drive from the other side of town to go here instead of the other one sometimes.”

“This Shell has the best coffee I've ever had at a gas station! It's fresh, delicious, and always a treat. It is highly recommended for anyone looking to fuel up both their car and themselves!”
