“Great collection of Bangladeshi grocery and spices. The couple who owns the shop are both very friendly. They offer delivery services to Victoria for $18.99, which is so convenient compared to us travelling to Vancouver before for getting Bangladeshi bazaar! We ordered for Ramadan, and they were great in packing everything nicely and delivering outside our home in Victoria. Prices are almost same as in Vancouver so they are not charging anything extra just because of operating in the island. Thank you Tintin for giving us Islanders an option to avail Bangladeshi grocery from the Island itself! :)”

“The staff are amazing, and who doesn’t love Costco?That being said my only gripe is with other customers, a majority of people there act as if they’re the only one there. It’s almost as if the entrance is a portal to a land where everyone turns into a Karen for their shopping trip. You may run into some rude shoppers, or get rammed by a cart, so it’s the least Canadian atmosphere in that sense!”

“Having found Nesvogs, who offer me great service, and great quality meat, as well as other culinaryproducts, I now don’t buy my meat anywhere else. If I want a pork roast with the skin on (who doesn’t want pork crackling?) they bring it in and butcher it for me, they’ll bone my leg of lamb, they stock all the stuff my husband likes (and I don’t!) pigs kidneys, and liver, and other internal organs I prefer to avoid. They give me beef fat to roast with my top sirloin…my Husband enjoys the resulting dripping on his toast. Meat is expensive to buy everywhere these days; I’d much rather pay a little more, knowing I’m getting good quality meat, and if it’s not, they’ll refund my money.Real Butchers…through and through.”

“Excellent service, respectful phone calls, attention to accuracy!We switched to Costco because our friends told us that the rates were lower, so off we go to Costco. The only hassle would be if you have mobility issues, because the parking lot is large, the building is huge inside and there can be waiting in line. But my husband is doing the picking up while I wait for hip replacements :) I'm IMPRESSED with the courtesy and respectful friendliness which overlies the high degree of professionalism of the pharmacists and the adjunct staff. If ever there is a problem with them, we will have this good basis for our dealings with them.”

Things have moved around a bit but it's generally same store. -I started shopping here during Covid because it is kept nicer and has less traffic than the nearby grocery store. It's laid out nicely, they clean each cart, aisles are one way, staff follow current protocol.The produce is nice. Their app is fantastic for deals. Great grocery store.”

“The other night close to closing I had to run to save on.. we absolutely love the little in training shopping carts. My kids were being so well behaved through the whole process. When we went to pay their was a lovely gentleman who helped me handle the self check out and this other lady with long brown hair and round glasses was so sweet and brought my kids a children's hospital goodie bag each.. I truly appreciate the love and kindness they provided..what they didn't know is they asked for 1 and sadly I didn't have the money to get them one. So you can imagine their faces when they both got one.. thanks for having such beautiful hearts.”
