“Had what I thought was a warranty issue with my Trek Slash. I called the Trek Burnaby store at first to see if they had any thoughts. They more or less flat out said over the phone, without diagnosing the issue, that my "warranty issue" was a wear and tear item despite only riding for a single season and would not be willing to pursue the issue.When I called BSP North Van, they inquired and suggested I bring the bike in given a *known* manufacturing issue with my bike which may cause premature wear of the component. I brought my bike in and the mechanic, Keith, confirmed that this was a defective issue and helped me submit a warranty claim. This shop went above and beyond in helping me when the manufacturer's own store did not.”
