“Liberty Wine Merchants is hands down one of the best wine stores in the city! The selection is truly impressive, with a wide range of unique and quality wines to choose from. I was particularly impressed with their selection of natural and organic wines, which can be hard to find elsewhere.The staff here are exceptional. Lena, in particular, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. She took the time to help me find the perfect bottle, sharing insights about different wines and making excellent recommendations based on my preferences. It's clear that she is passionate about wine, and her enthusiasm made the shopping experience even better.”
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting McWines at 225 Pemberton Ave in North Vancouver, and I can’t say enough good things. They offer a truly unique space for people who dream of making their own wine.
From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the setup: clean, well organized, and fully stocked with the supplies and equipment one needs to turn grapes into delicious wine. Another thing that I noticed, was the “at home” feeling and vibe of the whole place, it is such a cozy, cute place. It’s clear that they take their role as a home winemaking hub seriously.
But what really made the experience special was the personal touch. The staff were welcoming and took the time to walk me through each step of the process. They answered my many questions patiently and gave practical, experience based advice that elevated my confidence. I could tell they genuinely care about helping their customers succeed.
Excellent facilities, knowledgeable support, and a warm, community oriented spirit, not to mention that, I will be saving big $$$ by making my own wine!”

“Great selection and very helpful staff! I always find what I’m looking for here. The only downside for me is that it isn't pet-friendly, so I couldn't bring my small dog inside. I’ll definitely keep coming back, but I'll have to plan my walks differently! Otherwise, a top-tier store for service and variety.”
“Constant sales, better prices than private stores, and helpful & professional staff. Today a gentleman helped me find a product that was out of stock in the front. Not only did he find more in the back, he also went out of his way to immediately restock for other customers. Additionally, when more than two customers are waiting at checkout, staff are quick to jump on register to clear the line. This store is well-run.”

Their Rum selection in particular I appreciate, and there have been a few times when I have bought extra or spent more because there is something rare or different that I have not seen anywhere else. The occasional sale promotion they run on some items helps as well.”
