“Great Manager in Mike Gray, even tempered and fair by all accounts. Like everywhere, difficult to staff, but appears to be running smoothly. Pleasant cashiers, helpful deli, butchers and produce departments. Good selection, and many specials in the weekly flyer.”

“Good selection of wine and beer. They have drum tabacco and papers. Everything you need to make a great pasta dinner from sauce to garlic, peppers and Italian sausage or a big dish of perogies. They also carry Ben and Jerry's icecream. Staff were very friendly.”

“Friendly staff, good if you are just arriving on island and need a few extra items or missing something.- ie milk , eggs . They are also an authorized dealer for BC liquor so can find a selection of beer and hard alcohol. They carry wine but the selection is limited.Great place for a candy stop for the kids.”

“Shop here almost daily due to the convenience of the location (I cannot drive anymore). The family who run it are all great people, any staff I have met are always kind and friendly. Selection is really good. Hours of operation are long, for the late sleepers and early risers. If you are missing an ingredient for dinner/baking chances are they have it at a reasonable price. The samosas and tamarind chutney are absolutely amazing!”

“I like it! Small footprint full-service grocery store with small-town, big-city cornerstore feel.Parking can be an issue (as most parking in Sidney is). Frequently stop in for picnic staples when visiting Sidney for its awesome thrift store shopping.Customer service is excellent. The store can get congested. There is good a selection of fresh seafood and a variety of ethnic groups specialties.Again, parking lot is small and can be challenging for pedestrians as well as drivers. Otherwise, a good place :).”

“Consistently well stocked and reasonably priced. Terrible parking lot. Great staff. On occasion find merchandise that is past it's "Best Before" date. When I make staff aware of this they promptly remove it from the shelves.”

“Generally we've had positive shopping experiences here, but on occasion we've run into very obstinate employees and had to call managers to resolve customer service issues... That leaves one not wanting to return!Prices are reasonable, parking is free and there's plenty of it. There are restaurants close by, banks, liquor stores, and this is good for one stop shopping.”
