I went in to pay a quick bill, being the only one in line I thought it would be quick today. I stood there for 15 minutes while 3 wickets were open and plugged up and didn't open any more to accommodate the Costco line that developed behind me. I ended up leaving having other things to do other than have a staring contest with the rbc employees that were just hanging out behind the counter doing nothing. Unacceptable service.

Terrible line ups. Ridiculous!!! Always has been bad here. Any time of day ! That is why I never dealt at RBC. Got migrated here from HSBC not by choice! RBC bought out HSBC across Canada.

They need to hire some tellers. I have been dealing with this bank for thirty years. The slowest customer service of any bank in Penticton!!!!!!!

Went to this branch today! 23 people in the lineup at 145 pm. The problem is they closed the other branch a few years ago and now they have taken over HSBC and closed that branch!

Lineup like crazy! Over two hour wait. Left without getting what I went for. No one should have to wait that long for a bank. Closing my account. Going to find someplace better.

All I wanted to do was speak to someone in person and called the local branch. After going through the "virtual assistance" who was going to "connect" me to a representative" the computer voice said to go online and use the app and then the phone at their end hangs up. Their customer service help line is not helpful!!

This truly is the worst branch ever. Everything comes from the top and the acting branch manager is the problem. He accuses you when his staff are inept at their jobs. I had to threaten to go to the ombudsman to finally get someone to go and dig for my new credit card. And small wonders never cease, they found it. All this after 5 months of constant drama and claims it was not there. He also claimed the staff had called me to let me know it was there. No such call was ever received and no voicemail was left. Here 3+ years later the same again. The credit card has been sent to the branch for pickup and no phone call. Absolutely horrible customer service.

I am trying assist my mom and reschedule an appointment as she is in the hospital and there is no way i can reschedule witout talking to a person. This is ignorant of RBC TO FORGET ALL ABOUT PEOPLE WHO DONT HAVE A COMPUTOR OR KNOW HOW TO USE ONE.

The RBC Penticton branch is a gong show. I can put up with the long line ups due to understaffing but recently had a very unpleasant experience in dealing with staff on an estate matter. Staff didn’t follow through on commitments and were unresponsive to voicemails and emails. It took me over a month to get an issue resolved that should have taken a few minutes had they done their job. As a RBC customer for over 50 years it was very disappointing to experience this type of corporate arrogance. This branch is in desperate need of customer relations training and perhaps a new Manager that can lead by example.

This review is strictly for that Agent Joanna LC at the penticton branch. She is a lovely and thoughtful Young woman who obviously cares a lot. She is an asset to the Branch and I can only hope that you treat her with great value!! Thank you Joanna!!!
