Michaels is a large craft store offering an expansive assortment of supplies for creativity and party planning. The store carries popular art supplies, fabric, canvases, yarn, knitting and crochet supplies, frames, floral items, scrapbook materials, beads, jewelry kits, Cricuts, and craft machines. It also provides party services like balloon inflation and sells decorations, gift packaging, favors, and tableware. The Pitt Meadows location is described as a great, clean, and bright store where customers can get lost for hours. Many reviews note very good experiences with friendly, helpful, and professional staff who assist in finding items. The store usually has a cashier on but also offers self-checkout. While generally positive, some customers find the store overwhelming at times and note that signage could be better. There are occasional discrepancies with online inventory, but the store frequently has really great sales. Overall, it is a place where people can unleash their creativity.
Although a little expensive on regular priced items, discounts are available. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and help me find exactly what I wanted. I would recommend always for hard to find items.
