“I have unfortunately never had a good experience with UPS. I was waiting for a parcel from the U.S. and really hoped to receive it before the weekend.
A notice was left saying my package could be picked up from UPS Store 248, so I called the store to confirm if it was ready. Before even asking for my tracking number, the staff member immediately told me it would only be available on Tuesday. I was surprised because he had not even checked the tracking information yet. After I gave him the tracking number, he said if the website showed “Ready for Pickup,” I could come and pick it up.
I kept refreshing the tracking page because I needed the package for the weekend, but the status only changed to “Ready for Pickup” after the store had already closed.
When I went to pick up the package on Tuesday, I found out the store manager had actually tried to contact me during the weekend to let me know I could collect it earlier, but unfortunately the sender had not included my phone number on the package.
I gave a 4-star rating because of the manager’s attitude and effort to help the customer. However, based on the service and customer support I personally received in this case, I would rate it closer to 1 star.”
