“This is a great gas bar. We rolled in for the first time, recently, and being from the City we angled to get into a line quickly as we do. The attendant was confident and polite when he instructed us that we'd actually cut the line, that another car was waiting; and that he'd love to serve us once we'd joined the the queue. And that.was.awesome.The service was good, the staff professional, and judging by the hot queue it's doing a healthy business. Keep it up!”
“Just FYI to anyone considering the purchase of appliances for Savary Island. The Unique fridge I purchased ($1900) from Andy at Top of The Hill in August 2021 stopped functioning properly this week (June 2025). I called Andy to request a service call and he told me I had to bring the fridge back to the store, as he didn't provide service to Savary Island. I was expecting to hear there was a large fee, for service to the island, and probably a long wait time, but to bring a fridge back to the shop for service seems unreasonable (also transporting an unboxed fridge off the island and back again would probably cause more problems). At least the Unique gas range that I also purchased is working well. (touch wood)”

“I agree about the long line ups. There's a lot of people who like to go there is why. Good coffee, lots of choices. I don't care for the gas pumps. It seems like there's no gas coming through when it starts but the tally sure goes quickly. Hmmmm.”

“I can’t believe I’m reviewing a 7-Eleven, but credit where it’s due and the staff here are professional and friendly despite some challenging circumstances. There are often some “interesting” folks hanging around, and in a community without a shelter, these people end up handling far more than they’re trained or paid for. My heart goes out to them. Every interaction I’ve had has been kind and compassionate.”
