These guys don’t disappoint! I used their online chat on a Sunday to verify whether the dash camera I intend to buy would work with my new EV vehicle. Not only they responded promptly to my inquiry, but they also helped me select the correct cables to connect to the battery pack I was also buying. They ship their products really fast; I typically receive my orders within the same week. Thanks BlackBoxMycar!

Issue with my Viofo A139 pro and Damon and Luke helped resolved promptly. Did all the troubleshooting like firmware update, factory reset and diff microSD cards and determined it was the unit that was defective.

I’m so grateful of the tow guy who referred the name Blackboxmycar. When I bought my brand new Honda Hybrid, the first ever in Canada, I installed my old dash cam from my previous car. Unbeknownst to my knowledge, even with Honda team installing the dash cam would kill my battery. So I had the worst ordeal and phoned Honda Assist for 8 times within 10 months since I bought my car. One of those encounters, is when the tow guy advised me that I need a battery back up for my dash cam and Blackboxmycar is one of the best. I’m so glad I listened and give it a try. I did my research and tried my best to understand what happened. I have dealt between Honda & Blackboxmycar and get the right answers to my questions. The staff of Blackboxmycar helped me tirelessly and answered all my questions. Blackboxmy car has the best knowledge and best customer service when it comes to dash cam. You will be in good hand with Blackboxmycar!!!! I would highly recommend 100%.

Bunch of grifters. I hear they do not declare dangerous goods (lithium batteries) which could endanger lives. I hear they also decrease values on shipments to avoid border taxes. If the above is true, it is highly recommended to stay away if you care about obeying the law or people's safety.

Bought the Viofo A119 mini last week for myself and my parents as a gift (was going to give to my parents next week). I was really excited to have this dash cam. For a plug and play camera for someone that is not tech savvy, I thought this would be great. Had nothing but issues with mine. I did not open my parents as it was a gift and didn't want to give them an "open box." I called for support and they said that it was a faulty SD card. I asked another question and 2 different people gave me 2 different answers. In the meantime, I used another SD card (my own) in which the same issues occurred. Would protect photo without me telling it to, would not protect when I asked it to, 2 different error codes on the screen (which support said that they had never seen before), the screen would freeze and none of the buttons would work... the app is another headache. I called again and asked what the issue was as I was still having problems. They sent me out a new SD card and told me to update firmware once I received the card. Why should I have to update firmware on a brand new camera ? By this time, I was frustrated and annoyed so tried returning the unit. They would not send me a return label. They said that they "paid for the shipping" when the camera was sent to me with my original order (free shipping was included over a certain amount) I had to pay out of my pocket to return the items back to them. Please see attached return form, I was limited to couriers too. Waste of money, time and patience. Do not use this company !

I was asked to share my experience here. I hate to say it, but I got no help at all from BlackboxMyCar. I contacted them and told them that I had a problem with my dash am as all of the text for the dashcam was upside down. The instructions that I got with the dashcam said to contact BlackboxMyCar if assistance was needed. There were no instructions on how to correct the problem. I sent an email to them, explaining the problem and got almost an immediate response, stating that they would be more than happy to assist me in my problem with my problem. The next day, I got an email from BlackboxMyCar stating that they needed the order number that I used. I bought the unit from Temu, and got the order number that was provided to me from them. I sent it to BlackboxMyCar. It wasn’t long I got an email from BlackboxMyCar stating that since I did not purchase it from them, there was nothing they could do as they only service those who buy directly from them. Give me an effing break. By the time they had sent four emails to me they could have printed out the instructions on how to correct the problem and emailed them to me. Since I didn’t buy it from them, they did not care that I was having a problem. I have researched the Internet and cannot find a fix, so I will have to use it as is. I will never purchase anything from BlackboxMyCar and would not recommend it to anyone.

WOW.....Incredible respond time, they replied to my email within less than an hour. I highly recommend this company. I was shopping for Dash Cam Battery pack and Powercell 8 is the one. They helped me with the installation setup. I am very happy and pleased....Thank YouThis company cares for their customers, they are with you all the way till problem is fixed.Number one Dash Cam Customer service. Thank You for all your efforts.

I have been dealing with BlackBoxMyCar for the past few years and have bought 2 dashcams as well as a battery pack from them for my 2 vehicles.Their prices are very reasonable but it’s their customer service that sets them apart. From answering my product-specific questions over the phone prior to purchase as well as helping me troubleshoot via email post-purchase, they are always patient with me and offer great advice any time I communicate with them.Shout out to Michael who has been communicating with me over the past year helping me with various settings & vehicle-specific issues. He has been very quick to respond anytime I email and always has great suggestions.I wouldn’t buy dashcams at any other store.

Service was great at BlackboxMyCar. They were able to fit me in at an earlier time spot and did a great job installing my camera. Will definitely be back in the future to install a dash cam on another car.
