Its not about this branch, but the bank is the worst bank in Canada. Customer service is so horrible. One of the worst decision was opening account in this bank.

If there is zero i will give zero. Worst service ever, I've been calling like 20x since yesterday and no one is answering the phone. I even left a long detailed voicemail but no callback. No wonder your rating is bad.

I visited the branch today and Kobe is the one who helped me, he was unprofessional and he didn’t help me with my inquiry. I provided my sin number to him to update and he said it’s not necessary and did not update for me. I waited 30 minutes today and he didn’t help at all. Now I have to find time to go to a CIBC branch to update my sin number. This is a terrible experience for client and I will open bank account somewhere else and close my CIBC account. Please educate your staff before helping your clients.

Worst customer service in a bank by far. Not only today. Last week she told us we have to line up in a 30min. When we asked her if we could deposit a US check in the ATM she told us we had to line up. Then we checked the ATM and we were able to deposit the check . Then today I have asked her that the bank called us so we could get our debit card. All she was doing for 5 min was taking and not helping anyone in the counter. Then when I asked if I could pick up my card she then told me to line up and wait for 30 as the line was long as she could easily do it. She seems like she likes to send everyone to the personal line instead of trying to help all the other customers who ask for help.

The worst CIBC branch I've ever been to.Boye was rude and unhelpful, client advice manager downplays and laughs at problems with bank cards and they seem to only want you to go away sooner without bothering them.

Shuqi was very helpful and knowledgeable in getting our accounts opened with CIBC yesterday. She was friendly and willing to listen. She explained in details about the features of different types of accounts and main things we should pay attention to in future. CIBC should be proud of staff like Shuqi.

I think the girl’s name is maple? Her service is amazing, she saw me looking at brochures and invited me into her office and introduced accounts to me and gave me a lot of useful information. She has won me over and I think I will move my banking to cibc.

Came in today to ask for a replacement credit card, as the current one was disintegrating after years of constant use and sometimes the chip/strip needs several attempts to get read. My issue was brushed off and downplayed. I was even suggested that my credit limit was full, hence the card didn’t work. Overall felt unwelcome. Go to a different branch if you can.

Three times they could not serve me in this branch. I needed a bank statement. I was told that I myself would go somewhere and make a printout, and only in this case they would fill out the paper. I had to go to another branch for the umpteenth time, where the staff is very nice and friendly.

Worst customer service the financial advisor Vincent yang was rude at First he greets us nicely but when he saw my account his attitude towards me changed Not nice how you treated your customer based on the amount of money they have on the account it was a hard earned money will not deal with this branch again ONLY the lady security guard was nice though

Jun Chen is terrible ! Not professional at all ! And no customer service ! Beware this guy ! I was a loyal customer , but I closed all my accounts in CIBC. Not coming back !
