I just made a purchase at Dollarama, where three Indian cashiers were working. I went to the one in the middle. The cashier called customers with a single word, “Next,” and handled my eight items very rudely — tossing them around while scanning and even throwing the receipt on top of the items. Before I could finish gathering my things, she shouted “Next” again to call the next customer. I was really shocked and disappointed by such disrespectful customer service. She was extremely rude and made me feel very uncomfortable.

The perfect birthday candles that stick to any surface if you gently hover the base above a flame. Really brightens up any space with a tall, strong flame. Comes in so many different colours too!

I couldn’t find the product I was looking for, so I asked one of the staff members for help. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience her response was rude and made me feel like I was being treated with suspicion, as if I intended to steal something. She was an older lady, and while I fully respect her age, that doesn’t justify treating customers in such a disrespectful manner. In my experience, only a few staff members at this location are genuinely helpful, while the rest come across as indifferent or ungrateful.

Probably the most unfriendly story I’ve ever been in. I appreciate that the service workers there don’t make a lot of money, but they shouldn’t take it out on the customers not a smile to be found in the place. The checkout girls don’t even look you in the eyes, not a good morning not a good afternoon, not a thank you, no goodbye… Just a hair-raising NEXT! when you’re done. They don’t ever help you put your items in the bag so that you have to hold up the line while you bag your own items. I dropped $84 there today. Can you imagine? $84 at Dollarama. Didn’t even get a thank you have a nice day. didn’t get a smile. She didn’t even look me in the eye.

Good dollar store with a huge variety of items, they pretty much had everything I was looking for. Prices are super cheap and the store is tidy. Only downsides were the staff didn’t really know where things were and gave me the wrong directions, and the wait at checkout was a bit long. Still worth shopping here overall, if you are not in a rush!

I always find great things at Dollarama at Terranova. Where can you go and get the same thing for less than four bucks than paying full price at a department store? I always shop there so my go to shopping place.
