Enjoy the beef jerky. Wife likes pork jerky. Nice and tender. Sold in half or full pound. In Parker place at food court. Came again to get beef jerky. Still nice and tender. Easy to eat half in one sitting

Traditional beef, pork jerky. If you think about American version of jerky, this is not a place that would recommend to you. The owner will ask if you bring to Seattle or not, if you do, she will put a label on it so it won't cause problem when you drive through the boarder.

This shop have been have since I been to Vancouver BC when I were 16 which like 25 years ago. It have been forgotten. Today once again, I just happen to be in this mall and recall they jerky was great. Got half lbs of pork jerky and half lbs beef. It is great. The taste is the same as I can remember.

Not sure if I have been here before but I remembered buying bak kwa from a stall in Richmond many years ago and wasn't impressed. I noticed the sign proclaiming it's Singapore jerky and I bought some to try. You could get a slice or more. I was given a pre-packed sealed package of 1/2 lb pork jerky (bak kwa) automatically when I said I wanted pork jerky. Be sure to say if you just want one slice. I saw the customer ahead of me getting that. There are also beef and chicken and salmon jerky. If you are really looking for those bak kwa from Singapore, this place is not really it. BKH at Fraser and Kingsway has a much closer taste. The spice used in this version is unlike any in Singapore. So the taste is already wrong. It has a very strong cumin or clove taste. Those spices are rarely used in the Chinese food in Singapore. Texture wise, it is a bit similar but still not really the same. At least it is soft. If you have never tried the bak kwa in Singapore before, then this place is excellent. So manage your expectation and you won't be disappointed.

I was gifted 2 slices of beef jerky from MMH from a friend. It came vacuum packed. The jerky is good. Juicy without being a big wet mess like San Dong Yang's and very tasty. They remind me of the old Jimmy's Beef Jerky brand. Will definitely look this place up on our next trip up North.

I stopped by this jerky stand is in the Parker Place food court area after lunch, and was able to find a parking spot (good luck finding one during lunch, though). The place is pretty tiny, but they have a lot of variety and offer samples for you to try before you buy. I ended up getting a pound of regular beef ($19) and a pound of regular salmon jerky ($22). The woman who was grilling the jerky was friendly and pretty talkative: good time for me to practice my Cantonese (well, any place in Richmond is a good place to practice). The jerky isn't cheap, but I like how juicy the jerky is: I guess you get what you pay for. They also take American dollars.

MMH has been in the same spot in Parker Place Food Court a long time (10years+ i believe). This is the only store in Greater Vancouver, there are few different choices on the jerky; beef, pork, chicken & salmon. Freshly make everyday....Pricewise i won't consider cheap, it range from $19 - $22 per lb. But the flip side is you can pick & choose the quantity and she will put the jerky in a nice gift box if the purchase is 1 pound or over. The owner is very friendly.

This was the first jerky place I was introduced to when I moved to Vancouver. It's hidden in the Parker Place food court, and the shop's been around for a long time so it's definitely got an old-school kinda feel to it. Apparently it's pretty famous outside of the city, as relatives from Toronto regularly request I pick up jerky from this place. I'm not sure what all the hype is about though, as I think several other jerky places are just as good. There is no fault here though, the beef and pork jerky are very good. They also have pre-boxed jerky for people needing to gift some in a pinch, but it's always best when it's freshly packed. The place is cash only, and $20/lb. It's a bit hard to get to if you don't drive. It's a five minute walk from either Aberdeen or Lansdowne station, or you can catch the 410 / 403.
