Was very happy dealing with Elliot over the phone. She is extremely resourceful and knowledgeable. Website messed up my order and she was able to go beyond their shop capacity to see what she could do.

I had a great experience at this location! I usually buy my clothes online but the male, Asian sales associate was an amazing help! He basically helped me create a whole new cute fit to wear. He was also really funny and kind throughout my whole time there.

People only review a place whenever they get a bad experience, but let me tell you the good experience I had. I always go here to shop and the same tall Asian girl was there to help me out. She always gets the size I want and asks me how things go. Even their manager went out of their way to help me out. I eventually got what I wanted thanks to them.

I can tell why there’s so many one star reviews here. I went this place before and felt like one of the sales people seems rude. But I just decided to move on because she might have just had a bad day.But today(November 7, 2022, around 4~6pm), there was a petite east-asian female staff with ombre hair who was just completely out of common sense. She kept checking the mirror that was displayed for customers to check their clothes. I thought she did it by mistake. But she CAME BACK right away, BLOCKED the mirror and CHECKED HERSELF IN THE MIRROR when I was checking the mirror. Seriously?Whoever the store manager is, you should really consider which worker you want to keep in your store because that worker might affect the whole reputation of OAK + FORT. I was going to purchase the clothes I was trying on but decided not to just because of her. And I will NOT ever come back to this store again.

I don’t really shop here anymore just cuz of the return policy but I ended up buying something today and thanks to the staff named ivy for helping me out! She was efficient with helping me and not pushy at all.

I entered the store and approached the cashier where 3-4 employees were standing there yet no one acknowledged me. I was left standing there for a few minutes until one of the girls looked up and gave the other a nudge. No apologies or greetings. They just stared at me.I’m also really unhappy with not being able to return a product I just bought because it is apparently on sale. It’s not very clear because it doesn’t show as a final sale on the product page. The manager wasn’t nice about it here and mentioned “it’s our return policy”. Maybe websites list items as final sale and don’t expect customers to search through the FAQ to determine that. With subpar quality and considering the prices, I recommend dropping a few extra bucks and shopping at Aritzia instead where they have similar styles but better quality.

Purchase a same shirt online with 10% promo plus shipping fee , so actually over original price, since there is no store near me have it available, and last week when I shopped in this Richmond location I found the same shirt, want to have the shirt early , so the sales girl told me I can purchase it right now so can wear it early, and when online one arrive I can return it. Today came back to store with the last week store receipt and the girl helped does not want to return it. Said I need to return it with my online receipt. Excuse me ? This is the exactly same two shirt !! Then she told me the excuse that coz online and in store has different code ? Have shopping with you guys for 5 yrs and never hear that !! Even the girl from last week told me I can do that! 中国人为难中国人,服了

A lot of the workers were nice but I was in the change room and no one knocked on the wall to see if was in the room. Lady tried to open the curtain while I was naked and luckily I had a fast reaction so she didn’t see me. They need to indicate properly when someone’s in the room. Also, someone was in the fire room with a phone stand and making videos?? There were two Asian girls. Not sure what’s that about but it’s not cool while we are in line waiting.

Sales Lady is very hardworking and personable. The manager is very arrogant, her ethnicity is East Indian. The manager can't break a smile and when she asked for my email address & phone number she didn't even make any eye contact whatsoever. Why is she a manager?! If you hate your job, quit!!! She looks miserable!

2 Chinese woman were taking ONLINE LIVE show right in front of fitting room(common area). Complained to the manager(also Chinese), but didn't stop them doing this(seems like they are allowed to do so). Don't go to this store if you are care about your privacy!!!!

I visited this store location to return my online purchase: At first I went the store in the outlet mall but they didn’t accept any returns from online. At least the store in Richmond accepts returns from online order. However, Needless to say, I could tell the store was reluctant to give me the store credit at first and they were pushy in suggesting that I pick out something from the store instead of the refund I wanted.Moreover, they charged shipment fee when made returns without any explanation. Their billing lacks transparency as they did not mention an extra shipping fee (the out of stock item made the order unqualified for free shipping) which was misleading to the customer. I only found out about the extra charge after seeing that I was refunded less than what I had returned.Oak+Fort has a long way to go in terms of online orders and inventory management. After this experience, I don't intend to return after using my credits.

Today I went to the store to pick up an online order. When I walked in I first stood at the front desk where an employee was on the ipad. She did not greet me or look up from the ipad but clearly knew I was standing right there. After 10 seconds I said I was here for an online order. She began asking me for my order number and did not once look up from the ipad while talking to me. She called another employee to help her find my order who was also very cold. I would like to keep shopping here but without these shockingly unwelcoming interactions. After that, Christine helped me and my mom find items and was wonderful and so kind!!!

I'm totally agree with other reviewers 1 star comments. This shop is only service two main customers (Two Mandarin speaking PROFESSIONAL online "Real-time Video LIVE show" woman purchasers). When I ask them for a basic question "do you have this shoes in X sizing and availability?", they could tell me "NO" and said to me "I just came out from the stock room, there is no that size on hand, so if you want me to check another size means that you want me to back to the room and check it again- AH?" For this kind of service, I get out from this shop immediately.
