The experience was pretty bad. When I had to open the nank account they gave me an appointment and asked me to come on that time. After a week I wanted to apply for a credit card and booked an appointment through mobile app. I had to wait there for atleast one hour when the advisor was just discussing something amongst other clients. When he attended me, he asked all wrong questions and I had to ask if they provide student credit cards. Then he told me yes and the documentation they require. I am thinking to change my bank account.

I have been through my share of local banks. This location is hands-down, the BEST in customer service. Jennifer R. is my go-to for all my daily banking needs. She is very attentive and and knowledgeable. A++

RBC has been a bank I have done business with for decades and always had good service. However, the branch at 11600 Cambie Road, Richmond BC, has been very disappointing. I recently had the worst experience I have ever had at any bank. The teller was extremely rude, disrespectful and worthy of disciplinary action. RBC customers deserve more and I encourage management to take action.

Pretty disappointing banking experience. Waited 15 minutes with only 3 people ahead of me. Also teller helped the person behind me when I was clearly next in line. Strange.

I have never seen such unprofessional behaviour, especially surrounding urgent banking needs, and no one at the branch to answer calls, hours of hold time, and an automated system that requires a card number, but I only have a loan so no card, then I just hangs up, I'm extremely upset and disappointed with this branch.

Their tellers literally can't count coins. I brought 23 toonies, 10 loonies and 112 quarters totalling $84 to deposit and they wouldn't accept simply because the coins didn't fill up the coin rolls. Banks generally don't hesitate to take your money so this was a first for me after a while, especially since I do the majority of my banking online. Two years prior, I brought just over $100 in coins to deposit and the teller at the time, made me re-count all the coins in front of everyone in the room. Feeling humiliated, I left instead. Not sure why RBC has bank tellers, or monthly fees if their frontline employees can't conduct simple tasks.
