recently contacted RBC about a matter with a transaction, the customer rep did not offer any solutions, at the end when she learned she's giving me contradictory information and when I called her out for it, she told me to fill up a compliant, at the end of the conversation i reminder her our conversation was being recorded and when they follow up with my complaint I will ask them to revise our recording to which she replied " oh no! no one is following up with you or giving you a call back, this is just for record"So RBC staff directly told me they have no value for any customers, she also mentioned serious issues with lack of ability to fight fraud on their end!They know it's not easy to close your bank account and count on that no one wants to have to rebuild their credit history! but I am risking closing it and setting my mind at ease because honestly they only cause issues, customer means nothing to them and they should not be a bank.

We’ve dealt and currently dealing with Roshan Jaswal of RBC and he’s amazing. He’s knowledgeable and able to work with us to what best works to our best interest. He replied to emails promptly. We are just regular people but he made us feel very important and valued.

This branch is ridiculous. Somehow the new account that I signed up for online got assigned here even though I don't live in Richmond anymore. They are making it impossible to verify my residential address because they won't accept electronic copies of anything and insist on receiving specific documentation that I don't have. They only accept a physical paper copy of whatever acceptable document, that I don't even have, in hand. I've now gone to two other branches close to my home and work and they can't help me because the branch won't answer their messages/their phone. Trying to close my bank account at a different branch took forever too. The absolute hassle is not worth the iPad gift, and no wonder traditional banks are going the way of the dinosaur and young people are using online banks. Who has time for this garbage?

I've never done banking at this RBC location before but I'm glad I went, Matt from this RBC branch is absolutely professional and knows what he's doing. Will visit again.

I waited for 20 minutes, no teller was available. Only 2 working at the time. The manager should come out to help with the long line of clients. I left because I don’t have time to wait any longer. This location is the worst. Management should address this issue.

I go 10:30 AM long teller waiting time . I go 2:00 PM long wait- always 20 mins ish - Worst RBC branch I been to.

Staff aren't empowered to solve issues. Everything here seems to take longer to process than at other major banks. Staff were speaking a foreign language while handling my case, clearly there was an issue but I stood there while they didn't communicate it to me.Took two branch visits to resolve a single, simple issue, that they even thought I should have been able to do online. When I asked what was going on they briefly went back to English and then returned to another language... Just unprofessional for a bank...

My first time to visit this branch and was impressed by an advisor Mark Z to have my new account opened. He was very courteous, patient and helpful to explain the terms and conditions. I am thinking to transfer some more money from my other usual bank, as I don’t like staff pushing me too much, but I found Mark who was different. I felt very fortunate to have him helping me with his professional skills and good manner.

Worst experience ever. Apparently some of their staff doesn’t care their customers. A teller Myra gave us an annoying and patience-less face when we request a receipt to just show she did the transaction correctly.When I asked for making sure send me the survey as I’m very disappointed with her service and attitude, she shake and waived her name tag to me and not even bother to apologize to her behaviour. Question mark on RBC customer survey?! Since your staff not even care to receive a complaint, do you really take action on these SURVEY? NEVER EVER SEE THIS ATTITUDE BEFORE W RBC IN PAST TEN YEARS ! If this is how RBC trained their staff right now, I will be more than happy not been your customer anymore. GOOD LUCK!(Thanks to another financial advisor helped us by the end)
