The Richmond Olympic Oval is a multi-sport facility and gym that inclusively caters to community members and visitors at any fitness level. Originally built as the host venue for 12 speed skating events during the 2010 Winter Olympics, today it is a beacon in the city of Richmond that attracts, welcomes and inspires people from all over the world. Members and guests of the Oval can enjoy the fitness centre, boutique fitness classes, YYoga studio, climbing wall, basketball courts and two Olympic size ice rinks - all under one roof. Seasonal camps and programs ensure that your entire family is well taken care of during every visit. The facility is very clean, the equipment is modern and well maintained, and visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful support from the staff. The Oval offers a variety of fitness classes, including posture, flexibility, and yoga, which are much appreciated by members. Some guests have expressed disappointment over the departure of certain instructors, but are grateful for the ongoing dedication of the remaining staff. While the Oval provides a comprehensive range of activities and amenities, some visitors have raised concerns about the pricing and billing practices, finding the open gym and membership fees to be overpriced compared to other community facilities. The requirement to cancel memberships in person is also seen as an unnecessary obstacle. Overall, the Richmond Olympic Oval is a well-equipped, community-oriented facility that caters to a diverse range of fitness enthusiasts, offering a enjoyable and inspiring experience for visitors of all ages and abilities.
Good yearly deal for all the courses they offer. Wish they had more courses though, as some of them tend to fill up quite fast.

I went to the Oval to try the climbing wall and it was a lot of fun. The day pass also allowed me to go explore the gym, basketball courts, and other activities with friends.

I was wondering if beach volleyball courts always have a net? Or I need to bring one?
