We were very pleased with our experience at Scan Designs and particularly the great service we received from Sheri Kirkland. She was very helpful and professional and was very prompt in her response to my subsequent emails which was very much appreciated. Highly recommended.Update: Our chairs have now been delivered and I wanted to mention how pleased we were with the two wonderful delivery people who installed everything. They were very helpful and accommodating. Sheri also followed up to make sure all was good which I appreciated. A good experience all around.

The service at Scan Designs was very good. We bought chairs and got the extra insurance for stains. Within months our chairs began to peel. The warranty was only for stains so the sales associate said there was nothing they could do. They continued to deteriorate and we just replaced them. Just beware of the synthetic leather chairs as they will not last. Definitely not worth buying.

The delivery team (Oscar and Brandon), were incredibly professional. They called to notify me of their arrival, were very quick with the installation, while being careful.I had a minor issue with my tabletop due to a manufacturing error; however, the service department was incredible helpful and responsive and addressed the issue promptly.I highly recommend this company due to their excellent customer service and beautiful furniture pieces!

The couch was delivered. They helped put on felt feet prior to placing it in the wood floor which was nice of them. They did leave the front rug outside the door and left damage to our door frame and hinge mounted door stopper - a part of it shattered and dropped to the floor.The rug being left outside was minor but was wet when we discovered it. We were very annoyed by the damage though to the door frame, however.

Great store with a variety of furniture. Only place I found something unique that would fit my house decor. Top quality an affordable pricing. I had a great experience while buying my new sofa. John helped with all my requests while other stores would ignore you and not help. The delivery team is top notch. They were careful while maneuvering my sofa. Nathan and Dave were as careful as I would if I was the one moving it around. Thank you! Highly recommend them! I will definitely buy more furniture from them.

We checked out several furniture stores to find the perfect dining room table and chairs, credenza plus some office desk and file cabinets … we ended up at ScanDesigns in Richmond … our sales person , Pat Wong was incredible (and very patient) and helped us to get the right table and chairs … and some office furniture … the delivery was timely and very professional ! … but we had a problem with one of the items … called Pat Wong and received (timely) a call from the service department (Anita) the issue got timely resolved and the item was replaced for a new item ! Overall a very good experience with ScanDesigns at an affordable price !

Great experience at ScanDesigns Richmond! This is a large store with loads of seating options.My 90 year old Mom has been in need of a comfortable new chair for a while after giving away a chair that was no longer working for her.On Saturday, June 17th, I picked her up and we went chair shopping. ScanDesigns was our first stop where we found a chair that was a definite contender. We carried on with our search at other stores for comparison purposes, and after trying a number of other chairs, it became clearer than ever that the Scandesigns chair really ticked all the boxes for my Mom, and so we went back and she ordered it.We were both delighted that she found such a great chair, and at a great price, and what made the whole experience as enjoyable as it could possibly be, was the wonderful service we received from Sheri.Sheri was lovely to deal with. She's friendly, helpful, patient knowledgeable, and she has a very gentle and kind manner. Furthermore, Sheri was particularly understanding of my Mom's issues (not only age but also the fact that my Mom had recently broken her wrist, so getting in and out of chairs was a bit challenging).Sheri guided us through a number of interesting options, was never pushy, and was truly a pleasure to deal with.Thank you very much, Sheri, for the great service and for being so nice and helpful! Mom and I both appreciate it immensely and I know she'll be delighted when the chair arrives.Five star service! :-)

I'm so glad we stopped by ScanDesigns on our search for a nursing chair because we found the perfect one! Sheri was very helpful and understood exactly what I was looking for. She was knowledgeable and never pushy.The chair is amazing. It's beautiful, but it's also very functional. It's super comfortable and has been since the start when I was just beginning to recover from a c-section. It's easy to get the chair into a comfortable feeding position with the automatic controls and the swivelling and rocking comes in handy.One day when I'm done with breastfeeding I look forward to having it as part of our living room furniture. My husband and I both reality love this chair.

Today's the day! Got a return call from Tanu and scheduled a tech visit today between 11am - 1 pm, and the tech arrived around 11:10 am. All he did was bump the front of the couch on the side that was failing, and it started working again! He said the cable leading to the motor is finicky, and we turned the couch over and he secured the wires with plastic ties to limit any cable movement, basically advising that as long as the couch isn't bumped by cleaning, etc., it'll last a long time, as the motor powering it is used in a lot of pieces, and has a good track record. The only caveat is it's finicky, susceptible to bumping. He also advised us that the switch to move the recliner has a reset button, and to try that also if we get another failure. So, a happy ending, and learned a lot about our new power recliner sofa. Beautiful, but touchy...lol. Treat it well, and hope it returns the favour for years to come.

Absolutely TERRIBLE quality. The delivery was not possible for over 1 month. We agreed to pick up the sofa ourselves and there were not enough screws to securely fasten the legs. It was impossible to manually screw in the legs. VERY POOR QUALITY! This brand has gone down hill since the owners have been focused on profits rather than customer experience. Unfortunate as this used tobe a great option. Buyer beware! They dont do returns either!
