Adding a second star just for the bank teller, who is more professional and provides a better customer service to a client than a rude branch manager.Will avoid this branch at all costs and advise my family & friends to do the same as I referred them to Scotiabank and don’t want to regret regarding the choice.

If you only have simple basic questions, the advisor at the Alderbridge branch can definitely help you with no issue. But if you have any complex questions regarding to your accounts or fees, you better reach the Richmond Center branch or contact the number on the back of your Scotia card because that's what the advisor at the Alderbridge branch suggested me to do. Don't waste your valuable time at this branch unless your questions are simple and basic.

This bank is always there for me when i need them most. Even though i dont have debit card account with them. It is always Scotiabank giving me the best offer other banks can't. Kudos to Ms. Helen Cen who helped me with everything i need in my recent transactions. Thank you so much from your customer service rep to your financial advisor. You did an awesome job.

I am a customer of this bank. I asked for documents. They asked me for money. What's the point of this bank if we're going to give money even for a document... I didn't like this service at all... I hope they come back from this mistake...

I have been a patron of this branch for years. We have found Branch Manager Jeremy Yang an excellent manager. It is the quick turnover rate of the staff that have made it difficult to run a branch of this size... Yet this is not the fault of the Manager. It is the Scotia's system that allow staff to come and go as they wish that has led to some issues mentioned by some customers. Indeed, it is Manager Yang that has literally "saved" this branch. There is a “working hour” for ABMs??? This is beyond stupid. What’s the point of having a machine to serve you? Other bank would allow you to unlock the door with a card, but here, the ABM is just enjoying its vacation.

Annoying ATM did not accept American cards, neither did the Western Canada bank across the street. TD Bank worked.

Moon’s customer service is excellent. My account recently got fraud and need to reset my online banking’s password. Moon is patient throughout the process and even helped me call the Scotiabank customer center. Definitely a 5-star to him and the branch.

All I can say is the service was horrible they had uncomfortable and sneering faces when we came in. They were really uncomfortable and even had a private talk with the branch manager after the talk the two bank-tellers went out of the office and the manager Jeremy Yang approached he had very rough and impolite tone which shocked us. We did not get the service we received as first time buyers we had no idea how to buy a house and they did not help at all. I do not recommend this bank

We are Mike Liu and Leo Liu and have been with this branch of Scotiabank at Alderbridge Place for over ten years. My family and friends all like both the service and staff at this branch. After reading some of the unfair and groundless comments on this branch and its staff, we could no longer hold back back but write this comment. Some of the issues could be attributed to the trainees. The management has tried vary hard to teach and train the trainees patiently and professionally. However, once those trainees finished their training, they tended to immediately want to move to some downtown and bigger branches. Nonetheless, both the branch manager Jeremy Yang and his able chief assistant, the chief of customer services, Jennifer and financial adviser Li are all dedicated professionals. I seldom see a branch manager coming to the front and helped his/her staff serve customers so very often. They have our respect and appreciation. Jeremy is all in all, the very best. Dr. Leo Liu, Ph.D., Professor of Canadian law. Also former President, Canadian Chinese Academic & Professional Society of Canada. I have been in Canada for decades.
