This is one of those treasure trove bookstores where you have to have a good dig around to find stuff and I loved it! From our brief visit it looked like organized chaos but I was easily able to identify each section and look at what I wanted to. The owner was kind and left us to have a browse, will definitely be back when we have more time.

This is a great small bookstore just packed to the rafters with used books …. From literature and classics, to fishing and game and superb BC and local history collection. Perfect place to lose yourself and browse. Very helpful and wise proprietors.

One of my favourite book stores in BC, used and new books. With a wonderful selection of art and nature reference books, historical novels, fiction, and fantasy. I’ve also found some rare manga volumes here on a few occasion.

Cute book store with many books!
Wasn’t quite sure how it was fully organized but the shop owner was able to find me every book I asked for which impressed me!

A wonderful bookstore with a large selection of new and used books. I specifically appreciate the selection of BC and West Coast fiction and non fiction at the front of the store.This bookstore is a Steveston gem that has been around for many years and I hope it stays for many more :)

Bill and his book store were a highlight of our Steveston visit. Our conversation started when we entered, saw the stacks and shelves of books and I asked “Wow, who takes inventory?”The physical space is small but the inventory is enormous. And Bill seems to know where every book is. I challenged him and he found each book.His knowledge of the authors, their books and their personal histories is impressive.For bookstore lovers, this is worth a stop. Give yourself lots if time. ?

Grumpy old dude at the counter told us to get out after 10 minutes of browsing. How are we suppose to find a book in your small bookstore after only spending 10 minutes inside? We were both masked up and respectful of our surroundings. Accused us of “passing our time” when we were both book lovers. Good riddance I guess. Do NOT come here.
