Normally I don’t waste my time on a review for a $5.99 French Press but I feel this warrants some time for a Google Review based on my recent experience here at Think Kitchen.I recently bought a single serve French Press and because it was discounted I didn’t expect it to last a super long time but after about three times there was a crack on the side. Outside the box it says it is Heatproof.When I brought it back within 30 days to be exchanged the cashier who sold it to me the week before and who was the same person who was working this evening was on her phone as I approached and finally when she was done texting she asked how she may help me.I explained how there’s a crack after only about three times of use and that I wanted an exchange (not a refund).The first words out of her mouth was “But it’s glass”. While true glass breaks and again this thing only cost $5.99, I didn’t expect it to crack after three times of use.She says I “likely” dropped it in the sink or placed it roughly on the counter. Both of these scenarios are not “likely” as I have a mat in our sink and since I don’t want to damage our counter I always use a tea towel when I place it on our counter.She then proceeds to lecture me on how I should handle this priceless and valuable $5.99 French Press that breaks simply by looking at it with an evil eye.In all seriousness, the point I’m trying to make is that the first words out of her mouth maybe shouldn’t have been “But it’s made of glass” but rather “Sorry to hear that” or something along those lines.The products here are OK (like Harbour Freight of the tools world) but after this experience I don’t think I’ll swing by here any more. Especially not for a French Press.Thank you kindly.

My shopping experience with this shop was great despite the average reviews I see for itThe customer service person in charge - Riya was knowledgeable on products in store and other online items also very friendly and patient with our questions.We did not notice any discrepancies between the price tags or sale tags and the ones in our receipt.Overall a great experience

Unfortunately for the first time I had a bad experience with this store. The guy at cash was very unprofessional and rude. I had picked the napkin rings ,all 8 were in the box marked as 50% off. When I told him about that he was like ‘you replaced it at the box to get discount.’ Also, when we went back that I show him the price, all boxes where marked as 50%.To the owner, I strongly recommend to consider more training for this guy at your store, as your client he made me feel very uncomfortable. This type of behavior will damage this brand as well!

Staff worker is very amazing and very friendly. A person with blue turban is very polite and kind . He also helps me .

Liked this place they have decent glassware collection moreover Gaurav Singh (turban wearing person) helped in selecting the things that I need for home, his nature is good and good sense of humor ?

Unfortunately for the first time I had a bad experience with this store. The guy at cash was very unprofessional and rude. I had picked the napkin rings ,all 8 were in the box marked as 50% off. When I told him about that he was like ‘you replaced it at the box to get discount.’ Also, when we went back that I show him the price, all boxes where marked as 50%.To the owner, I strongly recommend to consider more training for this guy at your store, as your client he made me feel very uncomfortable. This type of behavior will damage this brand as well!

GAURAV the store manger is so rude and the Lady working with him Navdeep Kaur is also rude.I would request the owner to take the action against them as it will cost them a lot because of their behaviour.The “store manager” is against the law.The person with a big blue hat is rude and argumentative. The sale price tag displayed a different price from its system and he claimed that he can’t do a price match and claimed that customers purposely changed the price tag to demand a lower price. He implied that we changed the price tag to bargain lower price.He claimed himself as the store manager and he had no right to override the system while it’s by law that he has to do this price match or even give us the product for free. He said he can still sell this to other customers and said we can leave if we want. He was very rude and unacceptable.

The man working as cashier, he has very rude actitud. He asked to explain a product, because I was asking for the price. He works there he should know better the product description.The worse costumer service, same as his blue hat.

He implied that we changed the price tag to bargain lower price. He claimed himself as the store manager and he had no right to override the system while it’s by law that he has to do this price match or even give us the product for free. He said he can still sell this to other customers and said we can leave if we want. He was very rude and unacceptable. This was such a bad customer service and shopping experience.

The cashier with a big blue hat is very rude there! We bought a big plate there in original price and they wanted to charge me extra $2 for the bag and told us there is no other options! When we were talking about whether we want that bag or not because the quality is very poor and it’s nowhere worth $2, the cashier became very impatient and rude, but the plate is big that we do need a bag to carry it so we ended up buying it! We still said thank you in the end but the cashier didn’t say anything and just ignored us!!!! This is the store with no respect to people who support them but only care about ripping their customer off by taking any possible chance.

Extremely bad experience, plates bought from here were getting scratched and I was told at the store that if it’s used they chant exchange it - how else will I know that it’s getting scratched without using it? Also although it says the stuff can be returned that’s not the case. There was a tea pot we bought as well which the store didn’t accept which was unused. The problem is that the quality is sub standard and which is why the cutlery has been wearing out in 1 use. Someone at the store first told us we can return it then someone else cameIn to tell us that it can’t be exchanged and told us it’s a given that this will scratch and that we should have known it when we bought it - which doesn’t make sense. Overall bad experience at the store and with the quality of articles bought from here.
