While I didn't buy a particular used vehicle from this dealership that I'd been seeking for over a year, I still had an excellent experience and assistance from Nick Ng. He answered the phone when I called the sales department about the listing for a rare used model and he was genuinely friendly, polite, professional and super helpful. He clearly explained the whole process to make an offer and purchase over the phone as I don't live in the Lower Mainland. I realized later he was working after hours for me and then even later once he was at home (which I never like to do) but he made no mention until he said he wasn't able to confirm something with his manager anymore that day. There was a gap in the Carfax report but he called his colleague who took in the trade vehicle and provided me with some additional excellent information (and it was legitimate and factual, not sales spin). Nick is a gentleman and genuine. He's the real-deal, trustworthy and non-pressure. He operates from a place of respect for the other person and a sincere interest to assist to get what you actually need. I highly recommend him.

From the moment we walked in the front door till we drove away in our new XC60, Nick Ng was an absolute pleasure to deal with. No pressure and very accommodating in every aspect. The day we came in to start our car shopping, we test drove numerous other cars/brands and again found Volvo Richmond and Nick to be knowledgeable, relaxed and made the entire process stress free. Had an obscure question about wheel bolts/fitment for my '25 XC90 - Jerome went and took photos of the actual bolts I needed, sent them to me, confirmed that what I had was correct for the wheels I was looking for, didn't try to upsell me on anything and gave me solid advice for what to check.
Saved me time and at a bunch of money I didn't need to spend. Dropping off a case of beer for him next time I'm in the shop for service. 10 stars dude

Genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had purchasing a car. Trevor was amazing to work with and really went to bat for us when it came down to locking in a deal. Amazingly fast and efficient communication! Will definitely be a loyal customer after this 10/10 experience.

We picked up our new XC40 today from Volvo Cars Richmond and wanted to thank Nick Ng, Sam Song, and Betty Zhu for the excellent experience.
The car is for my elderly mother-in-law, who was anxious about switching from Lexus to Volvo. Nick was incredibly patient. He even found a quiet road so she could test drive, which she never does. During delivery, he explained features clearly and kindly despite a language barrier. On the way home, she said he reminded her of her own son.
Sam was warm and attentive, checking in throughout both of my visits to make sure everything was on track. The sales process with Nick and Sam was honest, straightforward, and stress-free.
Betty was well-prepared and clear with the finance documents, and walked us through optional products thoughtfully.
Thank you to the team at Volvo Cars Richmond. We’re happy to have this as our local dealer and look forward to many years of service—and hopefully a future EX90.

I had been in the market for a vehicle for a while but after coming to Volvo and meeting with Kartik, the choice was obvious. Kartik was super thorough on the model I was interested in (the 40) and made sure to walk me through the entire leasing process. The overall experience was lovely and I could not recommend Kartik enough.

My entire experience buying a car here was amazing beginning with Trevor. I felt like he was a friend not a sales rep. We had a small hiccup but Jesse was there to help immediately. The customer service is top notch and I would recommend everyone give this dealership a shot you won't be sorry!

I recently purchased a CPO XC60, and Kartik was such a pleasure to work with! He’s incredibly knowledgeable about all the product lines and showed me a ton of different vehicles.
When I was finalizing the purchase, he took the time to walk me through all the options in the car, so I knew exactly what it could do!
The sales staff at VCR were fantastic, and I can’t recommend them enough.

First of all before I start about what happened; William deserves over a 5 star review. I have never met anyone so kind and well spoken. However the service manager Sam is not kind and most importantly not a safe service provider. This review is to warn the sales team and buyers that Sam is fixing cars unsafely and someone should inspect his work. We came to pick up a car today and he told us that rotors and brakes will be replaced and that that will cost the dealership $1800. Turns out Sam decided to machine resurface the rotor and not put new brake pads he puts the old ones back so the rotor was all uneven, because how in the world do you shave rotors and keep an old brake pad, no one does this even random dealerships in the streets don't do that Let alone a VOLVO DEALERSHIP. If I wasn't someone who knew about cars I wouldn't know, also to be honest I shouldn't have to check because this is not any regular dealership it's a Volvo dealership. How do you even certify this car? Also the car wasn't even washed and I don't think any thing was done to the car and the car's appointment pickup is at 1 pm and at 2:00 pm the car wasn't even washed. He said oh by the way I replaced the vent that was broken in the car and turns out he didn't even replace it. Poor William was like I believe it's on order, and we told him ok but why is Sam lying. This review is to tell everyone if you need to buy a car go to William but stay in caution of Sam. Also the sales team should inspect Sam's work before showing the customer because you shouldn't lose a sale for his unsafe work.

Kartik was great! Very proper salesman, no complaints for this guy. I really appreciated his whole approach overall, but his patience and mindfulness with me definitely stood out! Didn’t feel rushed and any concerns/questions I had were addressed.
This was my first dealership experience and Volvo Richmond set a high bar.

I’m at the dealership and wanted to experience the Volvo Bowers & Wilkins sound system. After just 5 minutes, salesperson George Siu came over and told me, “Please don’t stay in the car too long.”
