My local vet was not helping whatsoever, we knew if we didn’t get help he was going to die, got into uptown vet same day, they tested my dog and instantly took my worries away and ever since with antibiotics and probiotics he’s on the mend, they saved his life. All our fur babies are loved and cared for by this clinic and have been since we moved to BC 5 years ago. The staff is loving, caring and amazing at what they do. They have a great team that works hard together.
This clinic has made hard times easier when our heart were filled with grief as we lost our cat recently. They were supportive and made time for us to bring our cat in for cremation. We have an older dog that has on going comfort measures in place that are followed by the team to ensure she is doing ok.
The staff are happy to take my call about questions I have about my old girl and not once have I ever felt my concerns to be dismissed as they have validated and assistedin ensuring my girl can live her best life for the little time she has left.
They really strive to ensure animals are happy, healthy and have the best care. Hands down we have really appreciated and valued the services that this clinic has provided our family with for years and feel blessed to have such caring people there for our fur babies.

Places that smell like simpler times. Grandma’s kitchen. Mamma’s cooking — the good stuff. Equal parts butter and flour entwined by that mystifying drug we all crave… nostalgia.
If you’re ever on Alexander Street in downtown Salmon Arm; perhaps on a lazy afternoon stroll — walk yourself to a humble little spot called: Shuswap Pie Company.
The closer you get to the door, the more you realize you made the right call. A rich, romantic ambush of blistered butter and rendered meats pulls at your nose like some crush you never knew you had. But it’s too late — you’ve already fallen.
When I went there with my beautiful wife, I had the Sausage, Apple and Sage Pie. The crust doesn't just cut; it shatters. A plume of fragrant steam escapes, rising like a seductress. Thick with English Pork Bangers, onions, fresh apples & sage with a hint of grainy mustard and sour cream. Combinations you might not have thought to combine, but when you do, they become a flavor orgy better reserved for a late-night rendezvous rather than on quaint table in the middle of the public scrutiny.
But I didn’t care. I closed my eyes and I enjoyed bite after bite.
This place has unabashedly become my new little guilty pleasure and a respite from a tired world. And it’s worth every damn bite.
