I came into slegg with my can of natural stain and asked to get more, the sales person gave me the wrong. Then when I used the product and realized that it's the wrong color. I stopped and took back the product. When I talked to Maddie at the customer service desk she told me that, even though you used a little of the stain. We would replace your product for our mistake and to bring it in on Monday. This morning when I went to sleggs building someone else told me that she is wrong and yet said I should come talk to her on Tuesday.
The problem with this place is there is NO management claiming any responsibility for there staff!

Everytime I need something they never have it.
Speak with someone and most of them are clueless and tell me order online.

They didn't have what I was looking for even though the website said they had it. No help just some kid hiding out back. Need to carry tapererd siding boards.

Made it seem like my request for help finding a product was an inconvenience to them, to have to move and look for an item. Mood and attitude of 2/3 of the staff were rude/as if I had offended them by asking to for help (to do your job).

They treat their staff well, and they are local people. It's a real community store. I like to support them instead of driving to another town.

So I’m not sure if this review will get to anyone who matters. But I went into sooke homehardware to get some paint chips there was 2 young girls and a manager of paint at the paint desk all three of them did a very good job of ignoring me and not asking if I needed help. This is not a review to bag on those in your store with terrible customer service but to mention the shinning star in your store! All three of those paint people disappeared without asking me if I needed help but a sweet young man not even in paint stopped and asked if I needed help! His name was Bon. I wish that the owner of this store would give him a raise or praise for being a very good customer associate. He went above and beyond. I hope the manager knows that this young man is the reason I’ll ever shop there again. His customer service is so wonderful in a world of employees who ignore the customer. Thanks Bon you are wonderful and this store is oh so lucky to have you represent them what a gem you are❤️

Go there often for home and work supplies. Everyone there is helpful and friendly.
