“First winery of the day was to check out Sage Hills Vineyard. They're a 100% certified organic winery.Tastings are $10.00/person, non-refundable for 7 pours. No tasting sheet provided but our pourer was friendly. The tasting room is cozy (we sat in one of the corners with pillows) with a spectacular view of the lake. There's also a spacious patio area in the back.- Brut sauvage - Pinot gris - this was our favourite. Smooth, crisp and unfiltered. We bought a bottle ($30.00) for home.- Gewurztraminer- Rhymes with orange- Merlot- Syrah- Aft - fortified red paired with 75% dark chocolate.Worth the detour to try Sage Hill's organic wines.”

“My husband and I are new to the area, and weren't sure what to expect coming here. Well let's just say this will definitely be a regular spot for us from now on. The food was excellent! It came out fast (even though they were quite busy) and hot. Big portions, enough to take home for a late night snack or lunch the next day. Clean bathrooms. Our server was also fantastic. She was friendly, efficient and made us feel very welcome (short blonde girl with a dog tattoo). We can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu!”
