The other negative reviews are on point, check through those because I actually got the same experience as them.Met with a rep named Thea Niu, she started off already rude and pissed. When I said I wanted to open a savings account, she instantly got disinterested and said it's not possible without opening a checking account as well, despite there being no fine print or anything saying that.I reached out to the call center later and they informed me that it is possible to open a savings without a checking; the rep at the branch was wrong / misinformed.I should've known as the vibe around the branch was already bad. There's homeless people in the back with lots of trash around, sketchy area.

I went to the branch today to meet with the Small Business representative to open business accounts for my companies. I found the person to be extremely rude. She rolled her eyes a lot, and was quite impatient with me. I got the impression that she didn't think I was worth her time, which is funny but disappointing that she doesn't show basic respect to people. It's ironic that banks spend countless amounts of money to attract you to their services, but then can't even act decently when you engage with them. What's the point?

Pretty sad that they steal money from a childs estate account. Confronted them on more than one occasion and they want you to pay 5.00 a sheet to look through the transactions and then they won't show you where you signed any withdrawals. UPDATE went into the branch again last week still told 5.00 per page. Manager is not available. Stealing from a child who lost their dad is absolutely ? disgusting. Looks like we will have to get a lawyer involved. Again was called to a meeting and no one available.

All BMO locations need to revise their voicemail script. They all promise to reply to your voicemail by the end of the business day. Our law firm has contacted multiple BMO locations, including the Surrey Central location, and left voicemails 3 or more times and still have not received the promised reply to any of those voicemails, now weeks later. The script is making a promise that is essentially asking for people to call back irate. It would be kinder to the staff and the clients of the institution if they changed the expectations in their voicemail. It is frustrating enough never getting through and never getting a reply back, but a promise that you will get attended to before the day is done and not receiving that courtesy time after time becomes infuriating and can be taken as quite disrespectful. As a business that requires banking contact to aid our clients during a difficult time, this is quite a heartbreaking, hands-tied kind of situation that BMO consistently puts us in. They have also failed to reply to or provide acknowledgement of our letters and faxes. Something needs to be adjusted to make the BMO branches as a whole run smoother and be more attentive to clients and professionals that must reach out to the branch in various ways.

The worst branch I've ever been to. I never wait less than 20 min here to see a teller, and there are never more than two tellers on even at peak times. The line is often out the door.I will often take the bus to the Guildford location just to avoid this one, even though it's just a short walk from my house.

One of the worst branch ever . Going there to approve my line of credit for more than one month. Customer service is terrible. They say we will back you with in week but never.I submitted all the documents they ask but nothing works for them. I have approved the line of of credit same day from another bank and double the amount which they are saying very difficult to approve . Going to closed my account from this bank .

It was a pleasure to open my small business account with Amit. Amit was trying to do everything he could to finish the set up. I had to visit twice but I dont mind supporting someone who is trying to learn. Thank you for hiring people like Amit!

I have been to this Branch multiple times as it is nearest to my home. One of the employees Farah is the worst person you can interact with. She is rude, does not provide correct information and is full of attitude. She has no clue what customer service means. Trying to look like a model will not help of you don’t know how to speak to people . I have made a complaint to 2 different people at the bank but looks it’s more important for the bank to keep Farah than anyone’s concern or complaints against her. I have seen her misbehave with multiple other customers as well and every time I am at the bank, I just hope I do not have to interact with Farah. The rest of the staff is nice and Waseem and Ornela do a fabulous job. But there are six kiosks and there’s barely two people working at a time, which means you have to wait for a long time, and God bless your soul if you wait 30 minutes and then have to speak to Farah!
