Arianne is one of the best trailers I have met. Super patient and gentle. She explained so well in detail and I felt I have been well respected. Glad to have you - Greta & Karl

Chirayu Shah is the worst banker ever. He cancelled an appointment last minute which was booked 2.5 weeks prior to. The website shouldn’t have said he’s available if he’s not working that day. Then I sent him my questions over email. He gave me a phone call later without knowing any answers to my questions and said he will look into them. I followed up multiple times and still no response from him. Would give 0 stars to this branch if possible. Very unprofessional. If he doesn’t know the responses, he should respond and connect me with someone who can answer my inquiry.

Made an appointment last week, was told 40 minutes before the appointment that the branch I planned to visit burned down 2 weeks ago. I wasn't notified this while making the appointment at all. I was told come here instead. Person on the phone was very loud, rude, and refused to listen to how absurd this is. You should be apologising for the inconvenience. This was my first time trying to open a bank with BMO, I am very disappointed.

I always spoke with Mr. Chirayu Shah, who used to be in the Surrey Central branch but was transferred to the Guildford branch last month... Mr. Shah has always been so helpful with settling my late husband's estate, and he's very understanding, even if the settlement of my husband's estate took a very long time, due to requirements from the CANADIAN Main Office of BMO.

If I could give minus stars I would!! Worst Bank there is, and even worst branch this one. The staffs are all under trained, doesn't know what they are doing, horrible customer service, can't relay or communicate to their customers because they don't know what they are doing. More than a few tines I have had appointments, just to come there and no one knew what to do, it is a waste of my time and energy to deal with ignorant people like this. Avoid this bank and branch in particular at all cost!!

The individual who assisted me in opening my account exhibited a lack of professionalism, coming across as unhelpful and arrogant. On the day of my scheduled appointment, I arrived punctually, even ahead of time, only to be kept waiting for an additional 15 minutes without any acknowledgment or apology for the delay in starting our meeting. During our discussion about my financial situation and the details involving numbers, it was evident from her facial expressions that she was judging me, which made the encounter uncomfortable.Furthermore, her instructions were unclear, and her general demeanor suggested a lack of enthusiasm for her job. After a week of successfully opening a debit card with a sum of funds, I encountered an issue when attempting to make purchases using the card. Seeking a resolution, I visited the bank and was informed that the account I had opened was not properly activated for purchases. This unfortunate experience has left me deeply dissatisfied, especially considering the person responsible for this mishap was named Thea Nui at BMO Guilford. It's disheartening to encounter such behavior, especially within financial institutions where trust and reliability are paramount. Thea Nui's conduct raises concerns about her suitability for a role that involves handling individuals' hard-earned money. In the future, I hope that financial institutions prioritize customer service and professionalism, ensuring that customers' experiences are positive and their financial matters are handled with the utmost care.

This rating is for security at Giildford branch. What a terrible place to only have an outside atm working. There's questionable characters loitering outside out of view of customer. What a great way to say "come and take my money" than four highly audible beeps from an ATM! But, the corporation has to protect its property over people. Since there's no sign I'll say it. Use at your own risk because since when does a corporation accept liability easily when something goes wrong against a customer.

Rude and uneducated tellers. The last couple of times I have been here, the customer service was terrible. One time I was standing in line with nobody ahead of me. The two open tellers were just chatting away at their booths with no acknowledgement of me whatsoever. They were too busy flirting with each other to notice clients until I had to interrupt and say “are one of you working?” They then scrambled and one helped. Another time I came in to pay a bill and the teller miscounted my money. I had to go back and point out her mistake and she didn’t even apologize and gave me the rest of my money back which was owed. So extremely rude, ignorant and arrogant!! Worst customer service ever!! You also never know when this bank is open or closed, a few times I went there when it was to be open and the doors were locked, no signs or anything. Please update your system with holiday hours or have someone answer the phone during regular business hours!!

Christine (assistant branch manager) useless. Who even promoted her to assistant branch manager. She clearly lacks communication skills and isn't knowledgeable. Whereas, calling the customer service is even better and my case was solved within 2 days.

All BMO locations need to revise their voicemail script. They all promise to reply to your voicemail by the end of the business day. Our law firm has contacted multiple BMO locations, including the Guildford location, and left voicemails 3 or more times and still have not received the promised reply to any of those voicemails, now weeks later. The script is making a promise that is essentially asking for people to call back irate. It would be kinder to the staff and the clients of the institution if they changed the expectations in their voicemail. It is frustrating enough never getting through and never getting a reply back, but a promise that you will get attended to before the day is done and not receiving that courtesy time after time becomes infuriating and can be taken as quite disrespectful. As a business that requires banking contact to aid our clients during a difficult time, this is quite a heartbreaking, hands-tied kind of situation that BMO consistently puts us in.They have also failed to reply to our letters and faxes, to the point that our lawyer personally attended Guildford branch and was told that they had seen the fax (which was only sent after multiple voicemails were left unanswered) and just had not acted on it. Granted, we appreciate that the teller on that day was attentive and professional, and we understand attending to matters takes time as they are busy with many things, but some kind of courtesy call, e-mail, fax, something to let us know that you are aware and getting to our matter would be appreciated, especially a month down the line without any notifications or replies. Something needs to be adjusted to make the BMO branches as a whole run smoother and be more attentive to clients and professionals that must reach out to the branch in various ways.

Typical of a bank experience. The ATM’s work, courteous staff, relatively clean at glance (outside and inside). Lines move a bit slow, but the clienteles that use counter service tend to require a lot of assistance anyways. In relation to other branches or banks, it’s average.

For sure, poor customer service. They take too much time dealing with one person even when they are long lines. Most of the staff in this branch don’t even know how to do an international wire transfer payment. I have to educate them several times that you can take wire transfer fees from the CAD checking account and not from the USD account.I have lots of stories to share but that is just one of them.

Just walked in around noon, on my lunch break from work. 1 teller working with a 8 person line up. Honestly, that is a joke and pathetic service from BMO.
