I have been a dynamite customer for 10+ years. I visited the guildford store yesterday and there were two sale associates working. I only remember the name of one- Jaya. I was in the fitting room and trying on clothes. My husband was standing outside of my fitting room. I asked him to come inside and help me zip up the back of a blouse as it was a corset top. The other sale associate (don’t know her name but she was Caucasian) flung the curtain open and told me husband “only her in here.” He was still in the middle of zipping up my top and we were both deciding whether to buy the outfit or not. I did not feel comfortable coming out of the room especially with how things went. At first, I wasn’t going to say anything but I questioned Jaya why my husband was asked to leave the fitting room and why it was handled so unprofessionally. Eventually I did not end up buying anything because of the poor customer service of those two sale associates. As I was leaving the Caucasian sale associate said something under her breath and I told them to work on their customer service. So sad that these young employees are not equipped with the skills needed. I have never had any associate open the door or curtain on me while I was changing. Such poor customer service. You fully invaded my privacy and i cannot imagine how embarassed I would’ve felt if I was stripped down and not clothed. I won’t ever be returning to this dynamite location again. I hope management can take the essential steps to work on these two. You have lost a valuable customer.
I have tried calling the store 5 times- line keeps showing as busy so I had no choice but to leave a review.

i went in yesterday looking for dresses for a rehearsal dinner. i ended leaving empty handed, but two associates were extremely helpful and kind. i wish i had gotten their names to give the proper credit, this would’ve been sometime in the afternoon

I made an order online on Nov 7th, and I've only received 1/2 of the items I ordered online. I've tried to contact customer service and they haven't gotten back to me, if you can't get me the skirt, I would like you to refund me the money. Please contact me at your earliest convenience.

I went to the store near closing and was in a rush trying to find the best dress to wear to a wedding. Naomi was so insanely helpful and sweet! She got me sizing without even asking and was always there for advice and help. I didn't end up getting a dress but found the PERFECT pair of jeans. She was so sweet and didn't complain about staying a couple min after close to make sure I found the perfect outfit. So grateful and will definitely be coming back!

i rarely go into this store because i feel like they tend to have a poor selection of clothes but i was shopping for a dress to wear to a wedding and one of my friends recommended i check dynamite. i am an independent shopper, i like to do my own thing and don’t like being overwhelmed by staff while i am shopping. when i came in, the seller at the front greeted another girl before me so i quickly moved to the back so i could shop uninterrupted but after i saw the seller follow that girl around and overwhelm her as she was trying to so hard to get away and walked over half the store before the associate left her alone. the seller came to the back and engaged with me, i didnt want to chat and my body language clearly reflected that as i was walking away and not facing her but she continued to overwhelm me and followed me around asking me questions, i quickly rounded the store and left because of how uncomfortable i was.

The new manager at this location is amazing. Ive shopped at this location for a few years now. Previous to today I never got much help, sales associates didn’t care too much, store was messy little to no help etc. However, when I walked in today I was actually greeted! I was in shock! The store looked amazing, it was clean and everything was sized. The team was super kind and helpful which was really refreshing. I can’t wait to shop here more !

Nice clothes, but not very welcoming staff. Went in today and wasn’t greeted, just got a couple looks/glares from the staff like I shouldn’t be shopping there.. did a quick loop of the store and left bc I felt uncomfortable

I usually have a great experience at this dynamite but today I didnt. I baught a top a few days prior, took it home and cut the tag off. Once trying it on with some of my outfits I realized I needed a bigger size. Since I already took the tag off, I didnt think I could exchange but I called and asked anyway. The girl was really nice and said she checked with her manager and that it shouldnt be a problem. So I came in today, and the girl who did my exchange just had a sour atitude. For some reason my receipt said cash when I paid debit, she made an issue out of that. Because one of my items I was exchanging was purchased online, I had to pay for it again and get refunded on my card (no problem) but I had cash today from my mom, so I gave her $30, I owed $27.95. She didnt give me change back. Its $2 I know not a lot, but her overall customer aervice and atitude then proceeding not to give me change back just irritated me. I was already flustered due to a bad day, and didnt realize till I was already driving out of the mall. The sales rep is Melissa.

I walked into the store at 1:20 pm today, I wasn't greeted by anyone. I noticed 2 ppl working. I roamed around for 20 mins, found 3 outfits, went to the change room myself and tried them on, I figured someone would notice... I decided to get my work suits somewhere else. Just say HELLO... I guess nothing has changed after all these other reviews about the same complaint.
