Fresh produce at reasonable prices in a convenient location, sushi section is criminally underrated.

I really enjoyed my experience here. I wish I had remembered the cashiers name. She was very kind and sweet, even though the store was so busy on Christmas Eve. She was calm, cool, and collected and ensured all transactions went through smoothly. I was in and out within a few minutes. The store itself has a wide range of wonderful products such as fresh garlic bread and banana bread. I always have a very hard time finding banana bread, but this store carries it. The prices are reasonable and not anything over the top. Some products are similar to what other stores carry, and some products aren't. The one really cool thing I saw was the different dog treats in bulk! Great idea! I would recommend checking this store out to see what you can find!

I have so many complaints about this place, I don't know where to start. Maybe they should consider changing the name to "Rotten St. Market" since it's hard to find produce that is actually fresh. The produce is always in bad shape and tastes even worse than it looks - the steep prices only add insult to injury. Make sure to check the best before/expiry date on all packaged products - I've had numerous experiences with finding products that are months beyond their best before/expiry date that are still being sold at full price. At least other stores have the decency to mark down products nearing expiration and they would never sell products that are months beyond their best before date, hoping that customers don't notice. I've actually gotten really sick and tired of routinely checking the best before date and closely inspecting all produce for signs of rot. I've never had to do this at any other store.Another rotten aspect of this store is the attitude of many staff and a lady who I suspect is the manager. There is one staff member in particular, a young lady, who doesn't even greet you at the cash register and she always has a sour look on her face. Maybe she took a bite out of one of the many rotten products and it traumatized her - who knows. If she isn't busy scowling, she's busy chatting away with the other young staff members while completely ignoring the customer. I'm appalled by her behaviour and in fact, I actively avoid her at the cash register. The middle aged manager is no better - she looks like she hates her job and she's quite rude unless you fit a certain demographic. Although Fleetwood is a very diverse community, you'll find that certain people get treated much better at this store and if you're a person of colour, you're much better off shopping elsewhere. In fact, I have been followed countless times by the depressed looking undercover loss prevention guy. I thought I was imaging it but nope, everywhere I go, he's on my tail. I guess he's just really into gluten-free and vegan products.I have been shopping here for years since it's convenient and right near where I live. However, my experiences just keep getting worse and worse and I'd be an idiot to continue donating money to a place that sells rotten and expired products and treats their customers like garbage. I won't be shopping here ever again. You can get much better quality, prices, and treatment at countless other family-run markets around Surrey.

Have used Fresh St since it was IGA. Good prices compared to others plus good quality too. No problems with store cleanliness, stock or employees. On major bus route. Parking is phenomenal...??

Super expensive, baked goods like fresh buns and muffins doesn't have any taste. Same food items at other grocery stores are 40% less in pricing. I got grapes (organic) and when I opened it up it had spiders and webs entangled grapes. The store is just a name called "Fresh Market" but it's a Scam taste wise and price wise. Won't be returning back :)

I found that Fresh Street Market's prices are very comparable or lower than the bigger grocery stores. One example is that I always buy Portuguese Dinner Rolls. Save-On's regular price is $0.89/each while Fresh Street Market's price is $0.49/each. That's a saving of $0.40/each. There are other products sold at Fresh Street that are much less expensive than the larger stores. Their Deli Dept has sliced meats that are priced less than other grocery stores. I also like that they wrap their sliced products in brown paper, just like it was done many years ago. I now go out if my way to shop at Fresh Street first.
