Our first time bottling here, so we were taken around to see their entire process. We've been bottling wine for years and there are steps they do here that weren't done at the previous place we were dealing with. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and they even went over some of their weekly cleaning routines with us. Making good wine is a science and from what we've seen so far they really do put quality before profit. We are anxious to bottle our first batch and will update in the future ?

This wine making store is the best. I love how friendly and helpful the staff is! The wine they make is winery quality. It doesn't taste like a home made wine at all. I have brought in many friends to make wine there also and every is always very happy with the wine they choose. I have been making wine there for 10 years and will continue to get all my wine at Gillanders.

One of the worst winery store here in Surrey. Staffs are not knowledgeable of their products and very rude!!! Save yourself time and money and look for other winery shop. Do not go here.

Bottling your wine at gilander’s is an experience in itself, especially when you are a wine lover. The staff is very helpful and sweet. Welcome you with a smile and inviting attention. There is alot to know for a first timer like me so be patient with them and let them explain you the whole process of how to get the wine prepared. Basically , they would do everything for you but you got to select the end product and quantity you want. For me the guy went extra mile as i requested the facility tour and learnt about Wine making process from him.As you visit first time , you purchase the juice as per different price range and the quantity. Pay for it and you are off the hook for some weeks. I mean they will do the fermentation, degassed, filteration process for you. And when the finished product is ready , they would call you to come bottle your wine. Now its upto you to get your own bottles or they would provide you with them.Stickers and caps on your wine bottle could also be customized at this very facility. Imagine gifting your friends a bottle of wine with your company logo or just a cute thank you message. I would say it was cost effective too as i got 30 bottles in $253.00 after taxes which makes each bottle worth $8 with taxes. It took almost 2 months for my wine to be prepared so i was called during quarantine time to fill the bottles n i must say the sanitation measures were highly followed. In fact only two people were allowed in the facility at a time. They made sure that everything was sanitized. Infact the bottles are anyways washed and sanitized before being filled with wine.An experience to enjoy at any time of the year. Steps of wine making here as follows:1. Purchase juice2. Primary fermentation3. Degassed4. Secondary fermentation ( on shelfs)5. Filteratuin n polished6. Finished

I have been bottling wine with Gillanders for close to 10 years and I have to say they are the best! They take the time to get to know you and can always suggest something they think you would like and they always get it right.
I had decided at one point to try somewhere closer to home and what a big mistake that was. The quality was definitely not as good as the facilities were no where as clean as what Gillanders keeps theirs.
The drive is definitely worth their knowledge, friendliness, level of service and the product you take home!

No issues in 5+ years
They are professional, make useful product suggestions (and there's lots to choose from), and do their best to get you in for bottling even on short notice. Great experience and people.

Gillanders Wine Cellar A1+++ cannot be beat.
Great staff and always a pleasure to deal with.
Over the years we have had some amazing wines which were shared
with friends. Everyone was very impressed with the premium wines.
The port was the favorite, we took it to a small wedding and it was immensely enjoyed by all. Gone in no time!
Time to make some more.
