Guildford Heights Park is a great little park any time of year, located close to Guildford Mall. It is a calm place, rarely crowded, and considered an ideal haven for families. The park features a beautiful pond, described like a lake, with a nice nature trail around it where visitors can see waterfowl and resident beavers. The trails are well-shaded and awesome. The playground was upgraded in the summer of 2024 with a play area for kids that is great, featuring swings and slides on soft cushioned ground. There is also a large grass area for activities and picnics, though the open field is noted as not leveled. A well-made basketball court is always active. The park has undergone renovations with brand new washrooms, though some note a pit toilet that is never open or was vandalized. It is a good place for a picnic, with a McDonald's a short walk away. The park is also described as basically an off-leash dog park where many dog lovers meet.

Always very calm, rarely if ever crowded. Basically an off-leash dog park. Awesome, well shaded trails around the lake. Ducks and beavers. My dog and I love this park. Met some nice fellow dog lovers, also.
