Prices here are very affordable, the location is convenient and the ladies are super friendly too! I had the pleasure of getting a facial done today with Sandy (which they were able to squeeze me in for as a walk-in) and she was very meticulous and gentle too. It was a really nice and relaxing experience and I felt really pampered and well taken care of. I can’t wait to be back here again! :)

I used to come often but my last experience was the last one ever. I had stepped inside and she was sitting in the back corner and directed me to sit in the chair for brows. i sat there for a moment and her phone rang. she answered the phone and was raising her voice at the person on the phone and it honestly scared me and made me feel very uncomfortable. She yelled into the phone “EXCUSE ME? I DONT SPEAK CHINESE OR WHATEVER YOU ARE SAYING! YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER.” her tone was aggressive and startling. i sat up and walk out the store and to the nearest bathroom to calm down because that behavior really upset me even though it wasn’t towards me. I understand maybe she was having a bad day, and I don’t know what the person on the other end of the phone said, but I believe her tone and voice and yelling was unacceptable especially while having a customer in the store.

I was recently looking to get my daughter’s ears pierced and looked at going to Merle Norman in Langley. Unfortunately, they couldn’t get us in so we went to Guildford. Huge mistake. While my girlfriend got hers done 3 days before at Langley and was charged $110 all in, this location charged us $250. Absolute robbery. I specifically asked if there were cheaper options and was told the cheapest ones were $210 and that since my daughter had “meaty” earlobes they don’t recommend the smallest. I asked more than once if there was a cheaper options as that seemed steep, and was assured that was cheapest option. Do not go here. Absolutely ridiculous that they are not informing their clients of their prices when there are cheaper option. Save your money and go to Langley. I am so upset by the lack of care and information given and that they were not up front about all the options. There should not be that much variance between locations 20 minutes apart.

Hadn’t been to Merle Norman for a long time. Went and got a bikini wax today. Very happy with the service. Check this lovely little store out. It’s very good and you won’t be disappointed.

The ladies were really nice and did a great job, however I felt I was a little blindsided with the cost and wanted to leave a review for others, so it doesn’t happen to them.
When my sister and I walked in we were told to look at the board and make a selection.
I chose a pair and then lady told me they were $240 for a solid gold and $245 for gold with diamonds.
I said we already had earrings so I didn’t want to get anything too crazy, and then both ladies said these earrings usually stay in for a year so it’s common to choose nicer ones.
I came home and asked my cousin who said she got a pair for $70. I feel like this option was never presented to me.
With the tip included, we are looking at close to $400, which is a lot for a pair of earrings and piercing.

I entered the store and was greeted with rude service I asked were the earrings were and the front desk just seemed miserable to be there. I left right away if I am paying 100$ + for kids earring I expect some good interaction not someone who seems like they hate their life. Why should I invest into your business if you can’t even invest in yours.

Amazing service! Got a skintag removed, that was in a weird spot on my face and really bugging me. It was removed quickly and there was no pain. Just for this service alone, the place gets 5 stars!

Been going to this place for years late 90's and the place used to be packed all the time and over the years it's gotten slower slower but I continued going there to support a local business. After today's interaction I will not return to this place. I wish them the best. Customer service has fallen right off, the long time employee is rude and miserable

I had the best experience here the two ear piercing professionals are awesome! I had my nose and ear piercing done in the same day. I appreciated their ability to mark the nose and the ears perfectly and the recommended jewelry was spot on. I will definitely be back ladies!!

We had asked for a updo they charged $95.20 incl tax. My daughters hair looked like a birds nest. They said they had 20 years of experience. My daughter took her hair out in the car and came home and curled it herself. Do not ever go to them. Service is terrible. They should have just told me they don’t know how to do an updo. They didn’t even use any sort of product.
