Inside Michaels at King's Cross is a professional custom picture framing business. But logic tells me, if a square has four equal sides etc..... how hard can cutting some matts be. Accuracy isn't "oh, that's close enough", when we are paying professionals and paying around $100 each. That cost just adds an insult to the whole process. I'm not going to mention, matts will be ready in a few days!

Store was okay a bit messy and staff that didn't seem very well trained. I had to use the washroom and it was so disgusting! The stalls were completely dirty, the little garbage cans in the stalls were so full they wouldn't close. It stunk so bad from the rotting pads! I looked at the cleaning schedule and so glad to see that it was Friday the 29th and hasn't been cleaned all week. Shame on that manager for not caring about the presentation of the store! What if someone sent their kid in there, disgusting!

Our framing project took 3 attempts by this framing department to get to a point where it was even minimally acceptable. Michael’s tried to get me to accept a project that was crooked in multiple aspects not once, but twice. How they could expect anyone to be satisfied with such an obviously poor quality project is being me.When I came to pick up my project for the 3rd time I found I was 4th in line to wait for a staff member on a break. No one else was available to help. I am beyond words at such a failure of customer service.

Kudos to Sarah in framing! She is very knowledgeable about colours and textures to combine into a beautiful framed work of art. Sarah was patient and kind. We went through over 30 combinations. Sarah, like Alejandro and Oscar, is a valuable asset to Michael’s store. They are all excellent representatives of Michael’s . ???

This was the best Michaels I have ever been to. It was so organized and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This will be my Michaels of choice for now on.

I went to the Michael’s today at 7:00pm then the cashier she did not say hi hello and she was talking really rudely and she give me less change back then I noticed so I went back then the manager was there she called the cashier back then the manager fixed the problem but when I said to the manager your cashier was really rude she started arguing with me and talked to me rudely.

I don't know why but for some reason one of the staff members was a complete b**** to me here. A different one ( she had long black & green hair ) was ok, but the other one ( she had long black hair, slim build in her 20's ) was horrible. I asked the girl with the green hair where the resin was. The area was almost completely wiped out. There was hardly anything there. I asked her where the alcohol inks were and she told me which isle it was. I asked the other one where the washrooms were, and she told me they were closed due to Covid ( this may or may not of been true considering the other locations have been open ) She then followed me and stood 2 feet from me watching me, making me feel like I was going to steal something. I asked her if there was another area where they had resin ( as other stores often have an end cap of it in addition to the regular section ) she just brushed me off and said "no" Funny, as I found it myself a few minutes later. I got in line and waited. There was one cashier. The girl who was bitchy to me then told me I could pay her. I was scrolling on my phone looking for my coupon and she sighed dramatically, instead of just scanning the one they have at the til. She then slammed my change on the counter instead of putting it in my hand, and didn't thank me. Just walked off. Wow .. Management really needs to have a talk with her about basic Customer Service. I was planning on buying more then one item, but after the way she was acting, I decided to go to the one Downtown where they are all super friendly and helpful. Good thing this location is nowhere near to where I live! Never Again...
