My recent visit to this Save On Foods was marred by a disheartening encounter with the manager on duty, Alex. I attempted to price match using a flyer from Fruiticana, only to be informed by Alex that it was not allowed. Astonishingly, he seemed oblivious to a recent policy change allowing such price matching, which had been communicated to me by another manager during a prior visit.Alex's lack of awareness regarding his own store's policy was concerning, but what was even more distressing was his rude and condescending demeanor. I felt belittled and saddened by his behavior, especially considering his role as a manager.It's disheartening to see such a lapse in customer service and knowledge of company policies. This store should prioritize thorough training for its employees, ensuring they are well-informed and exhibit respectful behavior towards customers. My experience has left me questioning the overall commitment to customer satisfaction within the store.

They never have anyone to help at self checkout. So you get stuck sitting there with half your groceries not checked out, just waiting, and waiting. Management needs to correctly staff that area.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional customer service at Save-on-Foods this location , all thanks to Randall! I had been searching for tomatillos on several store visits, and despite no success, my recent encounter with Randall turned things around.Randall's willingness to assist was truly remarkable. He not only promised to restock tomatillos but also made sure his team was aware of our request to help us locate them once they were available. His proactive approach and dedication to customer satisfaction made all the difference.It's not often that you find individuals like Randall who genuinely care about enhancing your shopping experience. His efforts transformed a frustrating hunt into an outstanding one. We not only found our tomatillos but left Save-on-Foods with a newfound appreciation for their commitment to customer ,I wanted to ensure his commendable efforts were recognized.Thank you, Randall, for going above and beyond. You've made a loyal customer out of me, and I'll be back to shop at Save-on-Foods thanks to your stellar service!

I lived in the area for 4 years and always shopped here, then I moved 20 mins away but I still go here to shop. I love the size of the store and I know where everything is which makes for a quick shopping trip. Also, the pharmacy staff are great, they called me after a reaction to my flu shot to make sure it was getting better.

First I want to comment that I appreciate the hours of operation and the store staff are generally helpful whenever I need assistance with products so much appreciated in that respect.The issue I am facing is that this location DOES NOT ACCEPT glass drink bottles. However, there is outdated signage posted on the Customer Service desk that says that Save on Foods at this location accepts glass containers.It gets more confusing as the Fleetwood location does and moreover Clayton does sell glass drinkable containers. I would suggest that the decision makers of the organization consider updating or removing outdated signage and clearly advising customers that glass drinkable empties are NOT ACCEPTED at Clayton even though they are sold here. Whatever the outcome, I would really appreciate that management reconsider how this matter is communicated to their valued customers.Also I have already brought this up with the manager on duty as well as the Customer Service clerk. It's being posted here as well with the goal of increased visibility and awareness.

Have problems with their staff, not sure if it is just poor training or they don't like multicultural people as I see others non-multicural people with no issues doing the same business. Even worst today one of their clients left a nice ding in my car and drove off. Mike drop as I don't understand what the world is turning into ?????
