The Nordel Way ScotiaBank branch in Surrey is by far the worst branch I’ve visited. On a busy Saturday, there was only one officer handling customers while three other staff members were chatting and wandering around. Despite the long line, they showed no sense of urgency to help. I waited a frustrating 40 minutes in line, watching staff who seemed completely indifferent. Customer service here is shockingly poor, and they appear to care little about people’s time. If you’re looking for efficiency or respect, avoid this branch at all costs. It’s incredibly disappointing for a bank to treat customers this way.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this Scotiabank branch. The teller, a middle-aged woman of Indian descent with a heavier build, was outright rude, condescending, and unprofessional throughout the interaction. She smirked constantly, refused to take responsibility for the system’s errors, and instead tried to blame me. It wasn’t until the financial advisor, Tashneet, confirmed the issue that she finally backed down, but not without making a snide remark: "Your name is enough, Tashneet," clearly implying that without his intervention, she would have continued accusing me of being wrong.
As for Tashneet, his behavior was no better. He never introduced himself and used unprofessional, casual language like "let's go bro"—completely inappropriate for a banking environment. His questions were intrusive and unnecessary, repeatedly asking "why are you doing this?" in a tone that felt more judgmental than helpful.
I strongly advise against visiting this branch. The complete lack of respect and professionalism from both staff members was shocking.

I’ve been a Scotiabank customer for over 18 years.
The staff is always great & helpful whenever needed. I’ve got my mortgage & 2 credit cards with Scotia bank. I would recommend this branch to anyone looking for a great bank!

There is a very long lineup, and always only two counters are open. The bank should keep all the counters open and save customers time?

I had the appointment with Olaleken Amodu. He was very nice and friendly. He helped me a lot about my line of credit and credit card limit. He was really patient and pleased to help with my all queries. I would recommend everyone to book appointment with his advisor. He is the best financial assistance advisor ever.

I had a great visit there.
Olaleken Amodu is a great guy, very friendly and serving the best service there.
I visited him twice and each time he greeted my with a big smile on his face and using the punjabi word “Kida” which means how are you?
He is the best!!!!

A few days ago I had an appointment at this branch with Olalekan Amodu. He was very knowledgeable and had a fun personality. He helped me through my line of credit application along with the best way to access it. Our session went over the allotted time as I was also interested another credit line option. Olalekan was really patient and pleased to help with all the queries. I would recommend him as an advisor for anyone who would like any type of financial assistance.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the customer service at this branch. When I went to withdraw cash, my card got stuck in the ATM. In a panic, I sought help from a bank representative, but she ignored me and made me feel like I was doing something wrong. Her lack of concern and refusal to assist were not only unprofessional but also humiliating. This branch treats customers poorly, making you feel like a thief rather than providing the help you need. Don't go there.

Worst branch in surrey, poor communication, can't help customers with simple requests which creates huges lines, don't come to this branch.
They have little to no knowledge of their own systems and services.
