Second visit of the season just to buy some fruits. One thing I have to highlight is the cashier lady. I went with my wife and kid, and we spent nearly 30 minutes there. What I noticed was that she never smiled or greeted anyone. Even her behaviour towards my family felt like she was personally paying for the fruits we were buying. Another example of wasted customer service potential.

A Great Spot for Berry Picking!
Visited Surrey Farms recently and had a fantastic experience. The place is huge! Just behind the main store, there’s a massive berry field where you can handpick your own berries. The farm is well maintained and clean, and the berries are not only fresh and healthy but also impressively large.
One of the best parts you don’t have to walk far from the store to enjoy this. Once you’re at the store, head to the right side, where you’ll find the strawberry fields. You can even drive your car along the farm road (just drive slowly), and about 200-300 meters in, there’s space to park off-road and start picking.
The berries are big and juicy, and the price is very reasonable – a full food box costs less than $12!
The store also offers a great selection of fresh produce if you’re looking to shop.
Tip: If you’re bringing kids along, try to avoid visiting on very hot days.
Overall, this is a highly recommended spot for berry picking and a fun family outing!

We called in the morning to confirm the picking is open.
The first few rows didn’t have much, once we walked further in, we filled them up quickly — the strawberries were big and sweet. Very satisfied with the harvest. The shop didn’t weigh my containers beforehand, but they helped subtract the weight at checkout.
Staff were nice!

I am incredibly impressed with the the U-Pick from Surrey Farms.
We harvested the raspberries and blueberries. Every berry was sweet and premium-quality.
I couldn’t believe the price. The berries were super affordable for the amount we harvested and their quality! For $3.00/lb, it is so much more worth it compared to overpriced, sour berries often sold in establishments like Walmart…
It is a must-do summer activity that is not only fun but also delicious!

First thing you need to do is to come up with a way to make the parking spit gravel so we don have to get soaked in dust and dirt and your poor employee doesn’t have to cover her whole face and doesn’t have to keep coughing
Whats the point of coming for a fun day of picking fruit when your whole body, clothes, car has to get dirty?

No sure what it was, but the field looks old. Not maintained at all. All the strawberry plants are mixed with grass. Strawberry is very very small, over ripped and has a strange taste. By the time we got home (30 min) it was impossible to eat the berries as they got soggy. I made jam, but the taste is strange again, like it has something in it.
Very disappointing this year.

Not worth the drive, I will stick with the farms that offers quality product. I went to pick strawberries yesterday and all you could find was overripe fruit. I understand that you can still use it for jam or something else but the price doesn’t reflect it
