Today at Fraser Heights TD Bank, I encountered a particularly poor manager named Julie Rasheed. I have over 10 years of experience with this bank, where I regularly deposit US dollars into my US dollar account several times a year (all US dollar checks come from the same place). Today, when I went to deposit US dollars, she checked all my deposit records (including one from January this year) but still decided to place a 15-day hold on my funds. I told her I urgently needed the money converted to Canadian dollars and asked her not to hold it for so long, or at all, but she still opted for a 15-day hold. In the past, most managers would not hold the funds after reviewing my records and understanding my request, and only a few would hold it for a few days. In this manager's eyes, I am not their customer but their enemy! Her actions, detrimental to TD Bank's customers, will inevitably harm TD Bank's interests.

Honestly, very upset with this branch. On Dec 29, I walked in, waited for 30 minutes to ask the question if I can open up an FHSA with the teller before the end of the year so I can maximize on my contributions. I was told that only an FA can open that account and they are currently busy but they will phone me later in the day. I stated that I needed this account today because of the deadline, and was told that I will definitely receive a call. Day passed, and I called in Dec 30, left a voicemail stating I didn't get a call back. And that if I wanted to open an FHSA, I would have to book an appointment and that it would count as opening it next year. Now I've missed out on my contribution limit for this year. If I was just originally told they are booked up I could have went to another branch for an appointment. Now I've missed out on this opportunity. The 2 stars is because the branch is clean at least and the csr are friendly.

Stay AWAY and keep your money and assets FAR AWAY from this branch for your own sake.I was at this TD branch for a deposit to pay off my credit card. I noticed the payment never got applied to the account.I work in the states and had to take some time off from work on a Friday to go back with the deposit receipt hoping for a resolution. The staff was able to locate the deposit and not sure why it did not get posted. The branch manager was involved and said he has to look into the video surveillance system for recording of the event and he would give me a call back next Monday. It did not happen.I returned on the next Friday and was told by another staff that the payment showed canceled on their system and questioned if I ever took back the money. A different manager was involved and mentioned the previous manager is still looking into the situation. And he would give me a call back on Monday. It again did not happen.Another Friday, a different staff told me a different story. Now they are saying they didn’t see the cash at the end of the day count, that was supposed to be deposited. A different manager got involved and told me the other manager would give me a call back on Monday again. I asked the manager to make sure the other manager that’s handling this situation will call on the next Monday at least to keep me posted on whats going on. Of course it did not happen again.Three weeks later without a reply or explanation. At this point, after all the time wasted, anyone would be furious about the situation.A small simple task can seem like mountainous obstacles. On the other note, I’m starting to question, instead of having people waiting in line for deposits and withdrawals, why hasn’t TD replaced all the tellers with the new fancy multi-lingual ATMs. Hopefully this early adoption can reduce all the unnecessary staff expense and we can go back to the old days and stop charging account holders with monthly maintenance fees when they don’t keep a minimum deposit.

Frustrating when store operation hours is till 6:00pm, but gate inside is closed at 5:45pm with 3 staffs standing inside telling customer they’re closed? You can tell staff were rushing to close up.

Very bad service, Always disappointed. Every time I come to deposit the regular cheque,they still want to put it on hold and Every time they waste my half an hour. I will never recommend to come in this branch

I went to change my bank draft due to a minor mistake. The teller that was helping me was quick, very friendly and efficient at his job. I didnt quite catch his name but i went there at 10:45am at 12 Jun 2023. Thanks guys :)

Overseas visitor went into 9275 Fraser Heights branch @4.13pm for FX conversion. Said to ( Sth East Asian descent) teller I'd like to change Aussie Dollars to Cad. He kept repeating "we do not have Aussie dollars". Finally understood I was wanting to change AUD to CAD. Computer kept crashing for rates. Finally conversion done. He was short changing me by 0.12 as he said he did not have coins for that amount.Staff member not very informative and difficult to understand. I was a little disappointed.Perhaps TD should give more training to staff on communication skills as well as product knowledge/services.

To make short, was scammed. They froze my account for 3 months and I wasn't even able to get my own money to buy food or gas! Nobody cares there! I went hungry, they don't care
